[Purpose] This study aims to deeply analyze the golf lesson experiences of novice golfers from Generation MZ using a phenomenological approach and to identify the essential meanings of their experiences. [Method] Giorgi's descriptive phenomenological analysis was employed to collect and analyze data from in-depth interviews with five participants. [Result] Five themes were derived from the situational structure description: motivations for starting golf lessons, emotions and challenges during lessons, personal growth and changes through the lessons, social interactions and relationships formed during lessons, and the distinctiveness and cultural significance of golf lessons. The general structure description revealed the essential meanings of golf lesson experiences, including self-growth through skill acquisition, the formation of psychological stability, strengthened social relationships and bonds, a deeper understanding of golf culture, the integration of golf into the lifestyle of Generation MZ and the challenges and limitations encountered during the golf lesson process. [Conclusion] This study highlights that golf lessons provide novice golfers with multidimensional experiences, encompassing not only skill development but also psychological stability, social connections, personal growth, and cultural understanding.

[목적] 본 연구는 MZ 세대 초보 골퍼들의 골프 레슨 경험을 심층적으로 탐구하고, 그 경험의 본질적 의미를 규명하 는 것을 목적으로 한다. [방법] 이를 위해 Giorgi의 기술적 현상학적 분석 방법을 적용하여 연구참여자 5명을 대상으 로 심층 인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 자료를 분석했다. [결과] 상황적 구조 진술에서는 5개의 주제가 도출되었다. 첫째, 골프 레슨을 시작하게 된 동기, 둘째, 레슨 과정에서의 감정과 도전, 셋째, 레슨 경험의 개인적 성장과 변화, 넷째, 레슨을 통한 사회적 관계와 상호작용, 다섯째, 골프 레슨의 차별성과 문화적 의미가 나타났다. 일반적 구조 진술에서 는 기술 학습을 통한 자기 성장, 심리적 안정감의 형성, 사회적 관계와 유대감의 강화, 골프 문화에 대한 새로운 이 해, MZ 세대의 라이프스타일과 골프의 융합, 골프 레슨 과정에서의 도전과 한계라는 본질적 의미가 도출되었다. [결 론] 본 연구는 골프 레슨이 초보 MZ 골퍼들에게 기술 습득을 넘어 심리적 안정감과 사회적 연결, 자기 성장과 문화 적 이해를 제공하는 다차원적 경험임을 확인했다. 이를 통해 MZ 세대의 지속적인 골프 참여를 유도하기 위한 맞춤 형 레슨 프로그램 개발의 필요성을 제언했다.
