This study aims to discover dual voices in the interpretation of the Zechariah’s hymn, namely, spiritual salvation and political liberation, and to suggest a socio-ethical message for the Christian community through this. Most of the previous studies on the Zechariah’s hymn have been unrelated to political positions. However, words such as ‘redemption’, ‘horn of salvation’, and ‘salvation from the hand of the enemy’ recorded in the Zechariah’s hymn can be interpreted as the meaning of liberation that saves the oppressed people. Therefore, the Zechariah’s hymn contains tones that anticipate both spiritual salvation and political liberation. However, this interpretation from the standpoint of political liberation cannot avoid clashing with the general apologetic position of the Gospel of Luke. To resolve this, the political tone should be understood by interpreting the dual voices in the Zechariah’s hymn through the characteristics of artistic works such as poetry and songs. This literary characteristic can be explained through the world of poetry by South Korean resistance poets such as Yoon Dong-ju. In this way, the author of the Gospel of Luke uses the dual voices of God’s salvation and political liberation in the text of Zechariah, and through these, sings a discourse of resistance against the Roman Empire. The dual voices revealed by interpreting the Zechariah’s hymn with a literary understanding such as poetry or song are urging Christians in Korea today, who are facing a conflict situation due to political issues, to acknowledge each other’s diversity while returning to the Bible and uprightly maintaining God’s covenant in Christ.

본 연구는 사가랴 찬가 해석에서 영적구원과 정치적 해방이라는 두 개의 목소리가 있음을 발견하고 이를 통해 기독교 공동체를 향한 사회윤리적 메시지가 있음을 제시하고자 한 논문이다. 지금까지의 사 가랴 찬가 연구는 정치적 입장과 무관한 연구들이 대부분이다. 그러나 사가랴 찬가에 기록된 ‘속량’, ‘구원의 뿔’, ‘원수의 손에서의 구원’과 같은 단어들은 억압받는 민족의 구원과 해방의 의미로 해석될 수 있다. 따라서 사가랴 찬가에는 영적구원과 함께 정치적 해방을 기대하는 어 조들이 함께 공존하는 모습을 발견할 수 있다. 그러나 이러한 정치적 해방의 입장에서의 해석은 누가복음의 일반적인 호교론의 입장과 충 돌을 피하기 어렵다. 이것의 해결은 사가랴 찬가에서 보이는 두 개의 목소리를 시나 노래와 같은 문학이 가지는 예술적인 작품이라는 관점 에서 해석함으로 정치적인 어조를 이해할 수 있다. 이러한 문학적 특 성은 윤동주와 같은 대한민국 저항 시인들의 시의 세계를 통해서 설명 할 수 있다. 이에 누가복음의 저자는 사가랴 본문 속에서 하나님의 구원과 정치적 해방이라는 이중의 목소리를 내고 있으며 이를 통해 로마제국에 대한 저항적 담론을 노래하고 있다. 시나 노래와 같은 문 학적 이해로 사가랴 찬가를 해석함으로 밝혀낸 두 목소리는 정치적 이슈로 갈등 상황을 직면하고 있는 현 대한민국의 그리스도인들을 향 해 서로의 다양성을 인정하면서도 성서로 돌아가 그리스도 안에서 하 나님의 언약을 함께 올곧게 견지할 것을 촉구하고 있다.
