Proverb is the best way of understanding the nation's culture. This thesis, and as research objects, emphasizes on the China and Korea two countries’ common proverbs. Through the comparison, we will be able to understand more about the characteristic of the source of two countries’ proverb and two countries’ cultural ethnics that are presented by proverbs. 　We used comparison analysis technique to differ their types and to compare them, and then presented the reasons of their difference. At the same time, we also collected a lot of reference materials and applied reference analysis technique on these collected reference materials to sort them into different groups. 　During the research of two countries’ colloquialism, starting by emphasizing in the cultural life of two countries’ race, we researched on their race’s history, culture, customs, effect of people’s life sense in colloquialism’s formation and effects during the formation and development. And also from two countries’ colloquialism’s different structure, different meaning, different role and different expression techniques, researched on two countries’ cultural characteristics. 　Through history and modern culture’s exchange between China and Korea, two countries are sharing similar thinking and cultural customs. Also by having the difference in historical culture and regional custom culture, two countries’ proverbs have made different characteristics in their expression.
