This study aims to examine the effect of grit on Career Preparation Behavior among high school students majoring in ballet and to verify the mediating effect of Parental Support. To achieve this objective, a survey was conducted over approximately four weeks, from December 30, 2024, to January 20, 2025, targeting 223 high school students majoring in ballet across the country. For data analysis, the statistical program SPSS 25.0 was used to perform factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, and mediated regression analysis. The results of the multiple regression analysis showed that grit had a positive (+) effect on the sub-factors of Career Preparation Behavior, including information-seeking activities, tool-preparation activities, and goal-achievement activities. The results of the mediated regression analysis indicated that the emotional support of Parental Support partially mediated the relationship between perseverance and information-seeking activities as well as goal-achievement activities. Additionally, informational support partially mediated the relationship between perseverance and both information-seeking activities and goal-achievement activities. Material support was found to partially mediate the relationship between perseverance and information-seeking activities, tool-preparation activities, and goal-achievement activities. Furthermore, evaluative support partially mediated the relationship between perseverance and information-seeking activities. Based on these results and discussions, this study suggests the establishment of tailored career policies, the operation of an information-providing platform for parents, and the expansion of research on Parental Support.

본 연구는 발레 전공 고등학생을 대상으로 그릿이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 규명하고 부모지지의 매개효과를 검 증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 2024년 12월 30일부터 2025년 1월 20일까지 약 4주에 걸쳐 전국에 있는 발레 전공 고등학생 223명에게 설문을 실시하였다. 자료분석을 위해 통계프로그램 SPSS 25.0을 활용하 여 요인분석과 신뢰도분석, 다중회귀분석, 매개회귀분석을 실시하였다. 다중회귀분석 결과 그릿이 진로준비행동의 하 위변인인 정보수집활동, 도구구비활동, 목표달성활동에 정적(+)영향을 미쳤다. 매개회귀분석 결과 그릿의 인내가 정보 수집활동, 목표달성활동의 관계에서 부모지지의 정서적지지가 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났으며, 인내가 정보수집활동, 목표달성활동의 관계에서 정보적 지지가 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났고, 인내가 정보수집활동, 도구구비활동, 목표달 성의 관계에서 물질적지지가 부분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 인내가 정보수집활동의 관계에서 평가적지지가 부 분매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 결과와 논의를 바탕으로 맞춤형 진로 정책 마련, 부모를 위한 정보제공 플랫폼 운영, 부 모지지 연구 확대를 본 연구의 시사점으로 도출하였다.
