This study explores the interaction patterns of a researcher(a golf beginner I) through the lens of first-person lived experience research. Data were collected from the researcher’s reflective golf diaries spanning a 10-year period, and analysis was conducted using Wills (2007)’s constant comparative method. Two key themes of the golf beginner’s interaction patterns emerged from the analysis: 1. Other-Centered Interactions – This theme includes three subthemes: ‘coaching,’ ‘praising,’ and ‘recommendations.’ 2. I-Centered Interactions – This theme involves three subthemes: ‘self-talk,’ ‘observation,’ and ‘coaching.’ A common element across both key themes is the Demonstration-Explanation-Practice (DEP) approach within the coaching context. The study concludes with recommendations for researchers conducting follow-up studies.

이 연구는 1인칭 체험연구의 방법론을 토대로 연구자(골프 입문자 I)가 경험한 상호작용의 유형을 드러내는 데 목표를 두었다. 이 연구는 I가 10여 년 동안 작성한 골프 일지를 토대로 자료 수집이 이뤄졌고 Willis(2007)가 제시한 ‘항시비교법’(constant comparative method)에 따라 자료 분석이 이뤄졌다. 연구 결과, 골프 입문자의 상호작용 유형을 두 가지 대범주와 각 대범주에 속하는 소범주 세 가지를 드러냈다. 첫째 대범주는 ‘타인 중심적 상호작용’이며 이에 속하는 소범주가 ‘코칭’, ‘칭찬’, ‘권유’ 등의 맥락으로 구성됐고, 둘째 대범주가 ‘I 중심적 상 호작용’이며 이에 속하는 소범주가 ‘셀프 토크’, ‘관찰’, ‘코칭’ 등의 맥락으로 이뤄졌다. 여기에서 발견되는 두 가지 상호작용의 공통점은 ‘코칭’의 맥락으로서 타인 또는 I가 DEP(Demonstration-Explanation-Practice)의 흐름으로 코칭한 점이다. 마지막으로 연구 결과를 바탕으로 제언 몇 가지를 제시하였다.
