Fall accidents in construction which are more than 50% of major accidents are particularly dangerous, but they frequently occur due to workers’ unsafe behavior rather than insufficient facility safety. To solve this problem, the government announced the ‘Major Accident Reduction Roadmap’ and presented four major strategies and 14 key tasks with the goal of reducing the OECD average accident fatality rate to 0.29‱ by 2026. In particular, in order to prevent these accidents, it is focusing on supporting smart technology and equipment. Even if recent smart safety technology is appropriately used to prevent industrial accidents, if they become unnecessary measures due to inconvenience and excessive costs. Therefore, it is necessary to apply risk reduction measures that do not cause inconvenience in work and reduce costs. So, we tried to find an effective method for preventing accidents caused by falls through openings among various smart safety technologies. Through a survey on the causes and countermeasures of opening-related accidents, smart safety equipment and technology, it was confirmed that the main cause of accidents at openings was the failure to install and secure covers, and a positive response was received for opening open/closed notification sensors and intelligent CCTV.

건설업 중대재해의 50% 이상을 차지하고 있는 추락재해는 위험성이 높음에도 불구하고 시설적 안전관리 미흡 이외에 근로자의 불안전한 행동 또는 실수 등에 의해 자주 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 정부는 중대재해 감축 로드맵을 발표하고 ‘26년까지 OECD 평균 사망만인율을 0.29‱까지, 줄이는 것을 목표로 4 대 전략과 14개 핵심과제를 제시하였다. 특히 위험 작업에 노출되어 있거나 불안전한 행동으로 인해 발생하는 재해를 예방 예방하기 위해 스마트 기술·장비 중점 지원을 하며 안전보건 확보에 힘쓰고 있다. 산업재해를 예방 하기 위한 첨단 기술의 안전장비와 기술이 적절하게 사용되었다고 하여도 그것을 사용하는 근로자의 불편함과 과도 한 비용으로 불필요한 대책이 되어간다면 그 의미가 점점 퇴색될 것이다. 따라서, 작업을 하는 데 불편함이 없고 비 용을 줄일 수 있는 위험감소 대책을 적용하는 것이 필요하다. 본 연구는 다양한 스마트 안전장비 및 기술 중 개구부 추락재해예방에 효과적인 방법을 찾는데 목적이 있다. 이에 개구부 추락사고 원인 및 대책, 스마트 안전장비 및 기술 에 대한 선호도 등에 대한 설문조사를 실시하였고 결과로 개구부 작업 사고원인은 주로 안전 덮개 미설치 및 미고정 으로 조사되었으며 개구부 개폐 알림센서와 지능형 CCTV의 적용에 대해서 긍정적인 응답을 도출하였다.
