This research aims to reduce safe evacuation time in nursing hospital and increase the efficiency of safe evacuation in nursing hospital. This study used Pathfinder software to model and simulate various evacuation scenarios to study the impact of changing outdoor stairs to ramps on evacuation time. Through four different evacuation scenarios, found that replacing the outdoor stairs on both the left and right sides with ramps can significantly reduce the safe evacuation time, so changing the outdoor stairs to ramps has a significant effect on reducing evacuation time. To better solve the evacuation problem of this nursing hospital, an emergency evacuation plan can be formulated and the overall evacuation efficiency can be improved.
