This study examines the impact of flipped learning-based presentation activities on EFL college students’ English-speaking abilities and their perceptions of communication competence. Forty-four students participated over 15 weeks. They engaged in pre-learning through video lectures, collaborated in group tasks during class, and delivered final presentations after receiving feedback. The results showed significant improvement in speaking fluency, followed by complexity and accuracy. Students’ perceptions of communication competence also increased across all subcategories, with the greatest improvements in “ consideration” and “understanding subject.” These findings suggest that flipped learning-based presentation activities effective enhance both English-speaking skills and perceptions of communication competence.
