In a digitalized business environment, finding innovation and innovative ways to change business in response to digital transformation is a major factor in creating competitive advantage for companies. For small and medium-sized businesses with limited resources to survive in a digital environment, the digital awareness and digital capabilities of entrepreneurs and top management may become more important factors. Recently, researchers believe that the digital capabilities of entrepreneurs and top management in small and medium-sized enterprises drive rapid internationalization and enhance new market opportunities, innovation, and corporate growth. Therefore, this study, small and medium-sized businesses, which are influenced by the capabilities and actions of entrepreneurs and top management, in the digital environment, We find out how entrepreneurs and top management's digital capabilities affect digital innovation, international business networks, and internationalization performance. For this purpose, the causal relationship between variables was analyzed through confirmatory factor analysis and structural model analysis using AMOS (18.0 version) targeting 168 domestic small and medium-sized manufacturers entering overseas markets. As a results of analysis, Digital capability was found to have no positive effect on internationalization performance, and digital capability was found to have a positive effect on digital innovation. In addition, digital capability was found to have a positive impact on international business networks. Lastly, digital innovation was found to have a positive effect on internationalization performance, and international business networks were confirmed to have a positive effect on internationalization performance. The results of this study are expected to provide theoretical and practical implications for small and medium-sized businesses and new venture companies pursuing internationalization.

디지털화 되는 비즈니스 환경에서 기업은 디지털 전환에 대응하여 비즈니스를 변화시킬 혁신과 혁신적인 방법을 찾는 것이 경쟁우 위를 창출하는 주요한 요인이다. 디지털 환경에서 자원이 제한된 중소기업이 생존하기 위해서는 기업가와 최고경영진의 디지털 인식 과 디지털 역량이 더 중요한 요인이 될 수 있다. 최근 연구자들은 규모가 작은 중소기업의 기업가 및 경영진의 디지털 역량이 빠른 국 제화를 추구하고 새로운 시장 기회, 혁신 및 기업성장을 향상시킨다고 보고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 기업가와 최고경영진의 역량 및 행동에 의해 좌우되는 중소기업들이 디지털 환경에서 기업가. 최고경영진의 디지털 역량이 디지털 혁신과 국제비즈니스 네트워크 및 국제화성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 해외시장에 진출한 168개의 국내 중소제조업체를 대상으로 AMOS(18.0 verson)을 사용하여 확인적 요인분석과 구조모형분석을 통해 변수들 간의 인과관계를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 디지털 역량은 국제화성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 디지털 역량은 디지털 혁신에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 디지털 역량은 국제비즈니스 네트워크에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 디지털 혁신은 국제화성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 국제비즈니스 네트워크는 국제화성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인 되었다. 이러한 결과는 국제화를 추구하는 중소기업과 신생기업들에게 이론적, 경영적 시사점을 제공할 것으로 기대된다.
