This study examines Korean perceptions of marriage migrants’ use of the Korean language by analyzing YouTube videos and user comments. For this purpose, keyword network analysis was employed, specifically investigating degree centrality, co-occurrence frequency, and ego networks to explore the discourse structure. Based on the findings of the keyword network analysis, perceptions of marriage migrants’ use of the Korean language were analyzed in relation to three key themes: “settle,” “women,” and “work”. Regarding “settle,” notable differences were observed between the videos and the comments. The videos emphasized that acquiring the Korean language is essential, whereas the comments exhibited a more flexible perspective, with a significant number of discussions also addressing the husband's role in the migration process. Regarding “women,” issues related to child-rearing and domestic violence were identified. In terms of child-rearing, both the videos and comments revealed two contrasting perspectives: one expressing concerns that a mother’s proficiency in Korean might negatively impact her children, and the other emphasizing the importance of bilingual education or education in the mother’s native language. With regard to “work,” the videos frequently discussed employment opportunities where marriage migrants could utilize their bilingual skills. However, the discourse also highlighted challenges, including employment difficulties and job instability. This study enhances the understanding of Korean perceptions regarding marriage migrants’ use of the Korean language by first identifying key themes through keyword network analysis of YouTube videos and comments. Subsequently, an in-depth examination of individual topics is conducted to provide a comprehensive analysis of the discourse.

본 연구에서는 유튜브 영상과 댓글을 분석하여 ‘결혼이민자의 한국어’에 대한 한국인 의 인식을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 키워드 네트워크 분석을 활용하였는데, 연결중심성, 동시출현단어 빈도, 에고 네트워크를 분석하여 그 결과를 기반으로 담론을 살펴보았 다. 본 연구에서는 키워드 네트워크 분석 결과를 기반으로 결혼이민자의 한국어에 대 한 인식을 ‘정착’, ‘여성’, ‘일’과 관련하여 살펴보았다. ‘정착’에 대해서는 영상과 댓글에 서 다소 차이가 나타났는데, 영상에서는 한국어 학습이 중요하다는 메시지가 전달되고 있는 반면 댓글에서는 다소 유연한 태도가 나타났으며, 특히 남편의 역할에 대한 의견 도 많이 포함되어 있었다. ‘여성’에 대해서는 자녀 양육의 문제와 가정 폭력의 문제가 나타났다. 자녀 양육에 대해서는 영상과 댓글 모두 어머니의 한국어가 자녀에게 부정 적인 영향을 미친다는 내용과, 이중 언어 교육 혹은 어머니 모어로의 교육이 필요하다 는 내용이 동시에 나타났다. ‘일’과 관련해서는 결혼이민자의 이중 언어 능력을 발휘할 수 있는 일에 대한 내용이 영상에서 많이 다루어졌는데 취업의 어려움과 안정적이지 않은 일자리에 대한 문제도 드러났다. 본 연구에서는 유튜브 영상과 댓글에 나타난 결 혼이민자의 한국어에 대하여 키워드 네트워트 분석을 통해 1차적으로 핵심적 내용을 파악하고, 이를 기반으로 하여 개별 내용을 심도 있게 분석하면서 한국인의 인식을 살 펴보았다는 데 의의가 있다.
