This comparative study analyzes the private security sectors in Hungary and South Korea, examining their historical development, regulatory frameworks, training standards, and economic impact. As both nations adapt to evolving security needs driven by urbanization and technological advancements, their private security industries have grown significantly. The findings reveal that while Hungary's sector has emerged from a post-communist context facing challenges with professionalism and public perception, South Korea has developed a robust regulatory environment emphasizing advanced services. This research aims to inform policymakers and stakeholders about the differences and best practices in private security, highlighting the importance of continuous adaptation in response to changing security landscapes.

이 비교 연구는 헝가리와 한국의 민간 경비 분야를 분석하여, 두 나라의 역사적 발전, 규제 체계, 교육 표준 및 경제적 영향을 조사하였다. 양국은 도시화와 기술 발전에 따른 변화하는 보안 요구에 적응하면서 민간 경비 산업이 크게 성장하였다. 헝가리의 경비 분야 는 탈공산주의 배경에서 프로페셔널리즘의 등장이 있었지만, 여전히 민간 경비에 대한 대 중의 이해가 부족한 상황이다. 반면, 한국은 선진 민간 경비 서비스를 강조하는 견고한 규 제 환경을 구축하고 있으며, 이러한 변화에 적응하는 과정을 겪고 있다. 이 연구는 양국의 차이점과 모범 사례를 정책 입안자와 이해 관계자에게 제공함으로써, 변화하는 보안 환경 에 대한 지속적인 적응의 중요성을 강조하고자 하였다.
