This study empirically examines the impact of manufacturing firms' dynamic capabilities on corporate performance, focusing on the mediating effect of proactive sustainability strategy and the moderating effect of environmental dynamism. Through structural equation modeling analysis of survey data collected from 140 employees of Korean manufacturing firms, the following key findings were derived: First, dynamic capabilities had a significant positive effect on the development of proactive sustainability strategies. Second, proactive sustainability strategy showed a significant positive impact on corporate performance. Third, proactive sustainability strategy significantly mediated the relationship between dynamic capabilities and corporate performance. However, neither the moderating effect of environmental dynamism nor the moderated mediation effect was statistically significant. This study contributes to the integrated development of dynamic capabilities theory and sustainability management theory by identifying the mechanism through which manufacturing firms' dynamic capabilities lead to corporate performance through proactive sustainability strategies. From a practical perspective, the study highlights the importance of strengthening dynamic capabilities and establishing proactive sustainability strategies to secure sustainable competitive advantages in manufacturing firms.

본 연구는 제조기업의 동적역량이 기업 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이 과정에서 선제적 지속가능 전략의 매개효과와 환경 역동성의 조 절효과를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 국내 제조기업 종사자 140명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 수집한 자료를 구조방정식 모형을 통해 분석 한 결과, 다음과 같은 주요 발견점을 도출하였다. 첫째, 제조기업의 동적역량은 선제적 지속가능 전략 수립에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것 으로 나타났다. 둘째, 선제적 지속가능 전략은 기업 성과에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 선제적 지속가능 전략은 동적역량과 기업 성과 간의 관계를 유의하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 환경 역동성의 조절효과와 조절된 매개효과는 통계적으로 유 의하지 않은 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구는 제조기업의 동적역량이 선제적 지속가능 전략을 통해 기업 성과로 이어지는 메커니즘을 규명함으 로써 동적역량 이론과 지속가능경영 이론의 통합적 발전에 기여하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 실무적으로는 제조기업의 지속가능한 경쟁우위 확보를 위한 동적역량 강화와 선제적 지속가능 전략 수립의 중요성을 제시하였다.
