The purpose of this paper is to derive Korea's military security preparations based on the results of analysis of the war execution strategies of the two countries for three years after Russia invaded Ukraine. This paper was studied by the literature survey method focusing on the four-dimensional strategies proposed by Michael Howard Due to lax intelligence judgment, operational planning errors across a large scale, and inexperience in joint operations, Russia has not been able to end the war in a short period of time. Ukraine is struggling to withstand Russia's attacks with the help of the United States and Western countries despite its inferior power. South Korea's military security preparations suggested by the Russia-Ukraine war are ①Information Judgment Considering Various Operational Environments, ②Strengthening joint operational capabilities, ③Strengthening the alliance and international cooperation system, ④South Korea's Response to North Korea-Russia Alliance and the Dispatch of North Korean Forces, ⑤South Korea's preemptive preparation for North Korea's hybrid war, ⑥Strengthening Korea's Intangible Power at the National Level, ⑦military innovation that overwhelms North Korea.

논문의 목적은 러시아가 우크라이나를 침공한 지 3년이 경과한 시점에서 양국의 전쟁수행 전략 분석을 통해 한국의 군사안보적 대비과제를 도출하는데 있다. 본 논문은 문헌조사 방 법에 의해 마이클 하워드가 제기한 4가지 차원의 전략을 중심으로 연구되었다. 러시아는 작전적 차원에서 안이한 정보판단과 대규모 작전에서 작전기획의 오류, 그리고 합동작전 수행의 미숙 등으로 전쟁을 단기간에 끝내지 못하고 3년을 넘겼다. 우크라이나는 열세한 전력에도 불구하고 군수적ㆍ사회적ㆍ기술적 차원에서 미국과 서방 국가들의 적극적 지원으로 러시아의 공격을 힘겹게 버티고 있다. 양국의 전쟁수행 전략이 시사하는 한국의 군사안보적 대비과제는 ①다양한 작전환경을 고려한 정보판단, ②합동작전수행 능력 강화, ③동맹 및 국제 협력체제 강화, ④북러 동맹 및 북한군 파병에 따른 대응, ⑤북한의 하이브리드전에 선제적 대비, ⑥국가 무형전력 극대화, ⑦대북우위의 국방혁신 지속 추진 등으로 도출되었다.
