Purpose: This study aims to identify research trends in papers published by the Korean Society for School and Community Health Education from 2000 to 2023, and to establish the future direction of academic development and academic identity of this journal. Method: 449 papers published from 2000 to 2023 were analyzed by life cycle for research topics, research designs, data collection methods, secondary data sources, IRB approval, and keyword rankings using SPSS win 23.0 and Textom programs. Results: The number of papers in this journal by life cycle was 53 for infants and school age, 126 for adolescence, 113 for college students, 97 for adults, 26 for vulnerable groups (elderly and disabled people), and 34 for others. The number of papers by publication year was 131 in 2015–2019 and 122 in 2010–2014. By theme, there were 139 papers on healthy lifestyle practices and 123 papers on mental health management. The research designs were 350 cross-sectional studies and 38 literature review studies. The data collection methods were 298 primary data and 98 secondary data. The secondary data sources were 23 National Health and Nutrition Examination Surveys and 22 Youth Health Behavior Surveys. A total of 43 IRB-approved papers were published. And the key words of all papers were health (161 times, 20.6%), influence (141 times, 18.0%), and factor (96 times, 12.3%). Conclusion: This journal is in line with the purpose of the society, which is to promote national health and health education, but it is necessary to find ways to increase the overall number of papers, resolve the discrepancy in the number of papers by life cycle, and find ways to activate the IRB.

목적: 본 연구는 2000년부터 2023년까지 한국학교･지역보건교육학회에서 출판한 논문의 연구 동향을 파 악하여, 향후 본 학술지의 학술적 발전 방향과 학문적 정체성을 확립하고자 한다. 방법: 2000년부터 2023년까지 출판된 449편의 논문을 생애주기별로 연구 주제, 연구설계, 자료수집방법, 2차 데이터 출처, IRB 승인 여부, 키워드 순위를 SPSS win 23.0과 Textom 프로그램으로 분석하였다. 결과: 본 학술지의 생애주기별 논문 편수는 영유아ㆍ학령기 53편, 청소년기 126편, 대학생 113편, 성인 97편, 취약계층(노인과 장애인) 26편, 기타 34편이었다. 출판연도별 논문 편수는 2015년~2019년에 131편, 2010 년~2014년에 122편 순이었다. 논문의 주제에서 건강생활 실천이 139편, 정신건강 관리가 123편 순이었다. 연구설계는 횡단연구가 350편, 문헌고찰 연구가 38편 순이었다. 자료수집방법은 1차 데이터가 298편, 2차 데이 터가 98편 순이었다. 2차데이터 출처는 국민건강영양조사 23편, 청소년건강행태조사 22편 순이었다. IRB 승인 논문은 총 43편이었고, 전생애주기에 걸친 키워드는 건강 161회(20.6%), 영향(141회, 18.0%), 요인(96회, 12.3%) 순이었다. 결론: 본 학술지는 국민의 건강증진과 보건교육이라는 학회 취지에 맞춘 주제에 부합하고 있으나, 전반적인 논문 편수의 증가 방안, 생애주기별로 논문 편수의 편차 해소 방안, 그리고, IRB 활성화 방안 모색이 필요하다.
