The purpose of this study is to analyze the structural relationship between social support, self-resilience, emotional problems, and life satisfaction of multicultural youth, and to verify differences between groups according to according to the type of ethnic identity to find practical intervention measures to increase life satisfaction of youth from multicultural families. To achieve this, the study utilized data from the 5th wave (2015) of the first cohort of the Multicultural Youth Panel Survey (MAPS), conducted by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. A total of 704 second-year middle school students were selected as the final sample for analysis. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 25.0, employing descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling (SEM). The key research findings are as follows. First, direct positive and negative influences were verified in each path of the structural model related to life satisfaction established in this study, and the partial mediating effect of self-elasticity and emotional problems was confirmed in the relationship between social support and life satisfaction. Second, there were significant differences between groups in the structural relationship between social support, self-elasticity, emotional problems, and life satisfaction according to whether multicultural youth perceived ethnic identity. Based on the results of this study, major implications and follow-up studies were proposed regarding the life satisfaction of multicultural youth.

본 연구는 다문화청소년의 사회적 지지, 자아탄력성, 정서문제, 그리고 삶의 만족도 간의 구조적 관계를 분석하고 민족정체성 유형에 따른 집단 간 차이를 검 증함으로써, 다문화가정 청소년의 삶의 만족도를 높이기 위한 실질적 개입 방안 을 모색하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 한국청소 년정책연구원 다문화청소년 패널조사(MAPS)1기의 5차년도(2015)자료를 활용하였 으며, 중학교 2학년 704명을 최종 분석대상으로 선정하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 25.0과 AMOS 25.0을 활용하여 기술통계, 상관분석 및 구조방정식 모형 검증을 하였으며, 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 연구에서 설정한 삶의 만족도 관련 구조적 모델의 각 경로에서 직접적인 정적, 부적 영향력을 검증하였고, 사 회적 지지와 삶의 만족도의 관계에서 자아탄력성과 정서문제의 부분매개효과를 확인하였다. 둘째, 다문화청소년의 민족정체성 인식 여부에 따라 사회적 지지, 자아탄력성, 정서문제, 삶의 만족도 간 구조적 관계에서 집단 간 유의한 차이가 있었다. 이러한 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 다문화청소년의 삶의 만족도와 관련하 여 주요 시사점 및 후속연구를 제안하였다.
