This study aims to develop an experiential learning program applicable to the 'energy' unit in the 2022 revised Technology curriculum and to cultivate middle school students' technological literacy related to energy. For this purpose, the research involved analyzing the Technology and Home Economics curriculum, examining experiential activities in textbooks, reviewing previous studies, and interviewing current technology teachers. Based on these processes, a program entitled 'creating an eco-friendly energy self-sufficient village' was developed and its implications were analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, the program was structured to help students understand climate crisis and energy depletion issues, explore eco-friendly energy utilization methods, and ultimately perform problem-solving activities. To enhance student engagement, the program incorporated activities such as creating picture books about eco-friendly energy self-sufficient villages using generative artificial intelligence (AI) and implementing (online) portfolio-based reflection and sharing activities. Second, to evaluate the field applicability of the developed program, it was pilot-tested for 12 class periods with second-year students at p middle school in a metropolitan city. The implementation confirmed the appropriate difficulty level and field suitability of the program. Third, after completing all classes, an online survey was conducted to analyze students' participation experiences and identify areas for improvement. The analysis revealed positive educational effects through expressions such as 'practical implementation experience of energy self-sufficient villages,' 'understanding of eco-friendly energy generation principles,' and 'enhanced awareness of eco-friendly energy in everyday life.' Finally, this study presents the educational significance of experience-centered learning activities in the energy unit of the technology subject and suggests the development of various experiential activities for the technology subject's energy unit and the enhancement of teachers' instructional expertise.

이 연구는 2022 개정 기술 ․ 가정과 교육과정의 ‘에너지’ 단원에 적용할 수 있는 체험활동 프로그램 을 개발하고, 이를 통해 중학생의 에너지 관련 기술적 소양을 함양하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 기술ㆍ가정과 교육과정 분석, 교과서 체험활동 분석, 선행연구 고찰, 현직 기술 교사와의 면담을 바탕으 로 ‘친환경 에너지 자립 마을 만들기’ 프로그램을 개발하고 시사점을 분석하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 본 프로그램은 기후 위기 및 에너지 고갈 문제를 이해하고, 친환 경 에너지 활용 방안을 탐색하며, 최종적으로 문제 해결 활동을 수행하는 과정으로 구성되었다. 특히, 학생들의 몰입도를 높이기 위해 생성형 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 친환경 에너지 자립 마을 그림책 제작 활동과 온라인 포트폴리오 기반 성찰 및 공유 활동을 포함하였다. 둘째, 개발된 프로그램의 현장 적용 적합성을 평가하기 위해 G광역시 P중학교 2학년 학생을 대상으 로 12차시 동안 시범 적용하였으며, 적용 결과 프로그램의 난이도와 현장 적합성을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 모든 수업이 끝난 후 온라인 설문조사를 통해 학생들의 참여 경험과 개선점을 분석한 결과, ‘에너지자립 마을의 실제적 구현 경험’, ‘친환경 에너지 발전 원리 이해’, ‘일상 속 친환경 에너지에 대 한 인식 제고’ 등의 표현을 통해 학생들에게 긍정적인 교육적 효과가 나타난 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 이 연구는 기술ㆍ가정 교과의 ‘에너지’ 단원에서 체험 중심의 학습 활동이 가지는 교육적 의 미를 제시하며, 향후 기술ㆍ가정 교과 ‘에너지’ 단원의 다양한 체험활동 개발과 현장 적용 방안에 대해 제언하였다.
