In this article, I will discuss Spinoza's state, religion and freedom in relation with rational perception. First, I will examine the aspects that are against rationalism. According to him, the social contract is established not through reason but through the laws of emotion. He believed that the social contract is formed through the most powerful emotion. Then, I will discuss the role of religion, which he emphasizes as an essential element of the social contract. The establishment and preservation of the state is not sufficient politically, so religion is also required. His view of the state can be appropriately interpreted in the dual relationship between politics and religion. In addition, the meaning of the freedom for the people of the nation will also be revealed in the dual relationship between politics and religion.

이 글에서는 스피노자의 국가와 종교 그리고 자유에 관해 이성적 인 식과 연관하여 다룬다. 먼저 이성주의에 반하는 사상의 면모를 밝히겠 다. 그에 따르면 사회계약은 이성이 아니라 감정의 법칙을 통해 성립 된다. 가장 강력한 감정의 힘을 통해 사회계약이 이뤄진다고 보았다. 그리고 사회계약의 필수요소로 그가 강조하는 종교(성)의 역할을 다루 겠다. 국가의 성립과 유지에는 정치적 요소뿐만 아니라 종교가 또한 요구된다. 그의 국가관은 정치와 종교의 이중적 관계에서 적절히 해석 될 수 있다. 나아가 정치와 종교의 이중적 관계에서 국가 구성원들의 자유(의 의미)가 드러날 것이다.
