The purpose of this study is to suggest Eco-Art as a medium for environmental ethics education within a normative approach and to specifically clarify the theoretical basis of environmental ethics education based on Eco-Art. Eco-artists strive to bring about practical changes in society by implementing an ecological worldview in their works, using nature as materials and themes. Therefore, Eco-Art contributes to fostering the practical ecoliteracy of learners by combining environmental education and art education, making it useful for environmental ethics education. The study finds that environmental ethics education based on Eco-Art is highly consistent with the achievement standards of the revised 2022 curriculum, demonstrating its suitability for the content of environmental ethics education. Furthermore, the study posits that the subjective sensory activities and thinking activities involved in Eco-Art add dynamism to environmental ethics education and serve as an effective method for connecting the natural environment to a meaningful place in one's life.

본 연구는 환경윤리교육의 매체로서 생태미술을 제안하고, 생태미술 기반 환경윤리교육의 이론적 근거를 구체적으로 밝히는 것을 목적으로 한다. 생태미술가들은 자연을 작품의 재료와 주제로 삼아 생태주의적 세계관을 구현할 뿐만 아니라 사회의 실천적인 변화를 끌어내고자 노 력한다. 따라서, 생태미술은 환경교육과 미술교육을 결합해 학습 주체 의 실천적인 생태소양을 기르는데 기여하는 환경윤리교육의 유용한 매 체이다. 생태미술 기반 환경윤리교육은 2022 개정 교육과정의 성취기 준을 실현하는 데 일치성이 높은 목표와 내용 적합성을 보여준다. 또 한 생태미술이 지닌 주체적 차원의 감각 활동과 사유활동은 환경윤리 교육에 역동성을 가미하며 자연환경을 자기 삶의 의미 있는 장소로 연결시키는 효과적인 방법이다.
