This study examines how the media conveys issues related to AI, a new technology that is revolutionizing everyday life, by categorizing the news coverage into news content frames and profit and loss frames. Reflecting the trend of increasing independence between headlines and the body text of articles, the study separately analyzes the frames of headlines and the frames of the main content. Furthermore, by cross-analyzing the differences in direction frames according to content frames and the variations in coverage frames over different reporting periods, this research assesses the current state of the media. It also provides recommendations for the efforts that the media should make to enhance the value of journalism.

이 연구는 언론이 인류의 일상을 혁신적으로 변화시킬 신기술인 AI 관련 사안을 대중에게 전달하는 방식을 보도 내용 프레임과 보도 방향 프레임으로 구분하여 살펴보았다. 기사 제목과 기사 본문의 독립성이 강해지는 추이를 반영해 기사 제목의 프레임과 기사 본문의 프레임을 구분하여 분석하였다. 나아가 보도 내용 프레임에 따른 보도 방향 프레임의 차이, 그리고 보도 시기에 따른 보도 프레임의 차이를 교차분석을 바탕으로 검증함으로써 현재 언론의 모습을 진단하고 저널리즘의 가치 증진을 위해 언론이 기울여야 할 노력에 대해 제언하였다.
