This study is meaningful as a basic study for the development of pre-service early childhood teachers' experiences and textbook teaching aids for early childhood character education by analyzing the process of developing digital traditional fairy tales of pre-service early childhood teachers. From March to June 2021, this study collected data through reflection journals and interviews with 43 pre-service early childhood teachers from the department of early childhood education and Christian education at A University in Gyeonggi-do about the development process of seven digital traditional fairy tales. Data analysis was organized by repeatedly analyzing the collected data, and it was intended to derive reliable results by reviewing the interpretation and errors of the study through repeated review and consultation by two early childhood education experts and one educational engineering expert. As a result of the study, pre-service early childhood teachers experienced knowledge, technological, and attitude changes for early childhood character education through the process of developing digital traditional fairy tales. First, the knowledge change of pre-service early childhood teachers recognized the virtues and values of personality education inherent in traditional fairy tales, and learned knowledge and information using digital media. Second, the technical change of pre-service early childhood teachers cultivated teacher competency for the development of teaching materials by understanding the necessity of teaching materials for the creation of teachers considering early childhood development and educational values, even though there are commercial teaching materials. Third, the change in the attitude of pre-service early childhood teachers attempted to form the right personality as a teacher for early childhood personality education.

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 디지털 전래동화 개발 과정을 분석하여 유아인성교육을 위한 예비유아교사의 경험과 교재교구개발을 위한 기초 연구로 의의가 있다. 본 연구는 2021년 3월부터 6월까지 경기도 A대학교 유아교육과와 기독교교육과의 예비유아교사 43명을 대상으로 총 7작품의 디지털 전래동화 개발 과정에 대한 성찰저널과 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 자료 분석은 수집된 자료를 반복적으로 분석하여 범주를 구성하였고, 유아교육 전문가 2인과 교육공학 전문가 1인의 반복적인 검토와 협의로 연구의 해석과 오류를 검토하여 신뢰로운 결과를 도출하고자 하였다. 연구 결과, 예비유아교사는 디지털 전래동화 개발 과정을 통해 유아인성교육을 위한 지식적 변화, 기술적 변화, 태도적 변화를 경험하였다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 지식적 변화는 전래동화에 내재된 인성교육덕목 및 가치에 대해 인식하였고, 디지털 매체 활용 지식 및 정보 등을 알게 되었다. 둘째, 예비유아교사의 기술적 변화는 상업적 교재교구가 있음에도 유아 발달, 교육적 가치 등을 고려한 교사제작의 교재교구 필요성에 대해 이해하여 교재교구 개발을 위한 교사 역량을 함양하였다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 태도적 변화는 유아인성교육을 위해 교사로서 바른 인성 형성을 위해 노력하고자 하였다.
