In recent years, after the State Standards for “Talents Cultivation of Area Studies” have been introduced, the talents training of Area Studies has been the most discussed among the topics of talents cultivation model reforms in Chinese higher education. The Korean Peninsula, as an important neighboring nation of China, holds a crucial position within the interest patterns of China. Meanwhile, under the new circumstances, many real challenges are to be tackled between China and South Korean relations. Consequently, a study of talents cultivation models of Korean Peninsula Studies has become a significant aspect for the studies of Korean education in Chinese universities. The present paper analyzes the characteristics and concepts in the talents cultivation of Korean Peninsula studies in Chinese universities from the perspectives of State standards, talent training demands, and talent training systems. It suggests that a basic knowledge of Area Studies should be firmly founded during the undergraduate period and the multidisciplinary research capabilities should be developed during the graduate study. Generally speaking, the main talent cultivation model of Korean Peninsula studies will be a “T-shaped” one, during which students’ insight into history and field research skills should also be emphasized.

최근 몇 년간 ‘지역 및 외국학 인재 양성’ 국가 기준이 발표되면서, 지역 및 외국학 인재 양성이 중국 대학 교육 인재 양성 모델 개혁에서 중요한 쟁점이 되었다. 중국의 중요한 이웃 국가인 한반도는 중국의 국익 구조에서 특별한 지위와 가치를 지니고 있는 동시에 새로운 정세 속에서 해결해야 할 현실적 난제들을 안고 있다. 따라서 한반도의 지역 및 외국학 인재 양성은 중국 대학 한국어 교육 발전에 중요한 방향으로 자리매김하였다. 본 연구는 국가 기준, 인재 수요, 교육 체계 등 세 가지 측면에서 중국 대학의 한반도 지역 및 외국학 인재 양성의 특징과 이념을 분석하고자 하였다. 학부 과정에서 폭넓은 지역 및 외국학 지식 기반을 다지고, 대학원 과정에서 다학제적 전문 연구 능력을 양성하는 ‘T자형’ 인재 양성 과정과 모델은 한반도 지역 및 외국학 인재 양성의 주요 모델이 될 것으로 전망되며, 학생들의 역사적 통찰력과 현지 조사 능력 배양에 중점을 둬야 할 것이다.
