This study aims to conduct a comparative analysis of the leader training program at Universal Peace Academy and the clergy training program of Won Buddhism, with the objective of identifying areas for enhancement in the leader training program at UPA. A comparative analysis of the ideal characteristics, educational goals, and core competencies of leaders in the FFWPU and clergy revealed similarities in emphasizing service centered on moral and ethical values, learning faith and fellowship through communal living, and developing essential competencies necessary for ministry and research. However, differences were identified in the processes of career decision-making, historical development, completion of core competencies and training stages, as well as the establishment of leadership ideals and consciousness. Based on these findings, this study proposes four recommendations: first, the strengthening of emotional education; second, the introduction of a leadership qualification acquisition system; third, the enhancement of intellectual capabilities; and fourth, the provision of opportunities for leadership development.

본 연구는 천주평화사관학교의 지도자 양성과정과 원불교의 교무 양성과정을 비 교 분석하여, 천주평화사관학교의 지도자 양성과정에 보완할 수 있는 점을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 가정연합 지도자와 교무의 인재상, 교육 목표, 핵심 역량을 비 교 분석한 결과, 인성과 도덕적 가치를 중심으로 봉사를 강조하며, 공동체 생활을 통해 신앙과 우애를 배우고, 목회 및 연구에 필요한 핵심 역량을 개발하고 있는 유 사점을 발견하였다. 그러나 진로 결정 과정, 역사적 발전, 핵심 역량 이수 및 양성 단계, 지도자상의 확립과 의식에서는 차이점을 나타냈다. 이를 바탕으로 첫째, 심정 교육의 강화, 둘째, 지도자 자격 취득 시스템의 도입, 셋째, 지성 강화, 넷째, 리더십 함양을 위한 기회 제공을 시사점으로 제안한다.
