This study analyzes the innovation performance of knowledge-intensive business service (KIBS) and territorial servitization, aiming to derive academic and policy implications for fostering KIBS and achieving territorial servitization. The results show that IPRs creation activities positively influenced innovation performance only in the Seoul metropolitan area, while cooperation partnerships and innovative environments had positive effects on innovation performance in both the regions. Regarding innovation cooperation partnerships, collaboration with competitors within the same industry was most crucial in the Seoul metropolitan area and Chungcheong metropolitan cities. However, in the provincial areas of the Chungcheong region, internal and affiliate cooperation was found to be most important. In terms of territorial servitization, KIBS firms located in the provincial areas of that region were shown to generate innovation performance through linkages with manufacturing clients. Therefore, differentiated policy approaches are essential to enhance the innovation performance, alongside policy support for fostering collaborative partnerships and innovation environments. Comprehensive support policies are needed to promote territorial servitization strategies in non-metropolitan areas.

본 연구는 지식서비스산업의 혁신성과와 영토적 서비스화에 관한 것으로 수도권 및 충청권 간 집단분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 데이터는 산업연구원의 '2022년 지식 서비스산업 실태조사'를 활용하였다. 연구결과에 다르면, 지식재산권 창출 활동은 수도 권에서만 혁신성과에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤으며 협력 파트너십과 혁신환경은 수도권과 충청권 모두에서 혁신성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 혁신 협력 파트너십의 경우, 수 도권과 충청권 광역시에서는 동일 산업 내 경쟁사와의 협력이 가장 중요했으나, 충청 권 도 단위 지역에서는 내부 및 계열사와의 협력이 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났다. 영 토적 서비스화 측면에서는, 충청권 도 단위 지역 소재 지식서비스 기업이 제조기업 고 객사와의 연계를 통해 혁신성과를 창출하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 지식서비스산업 의 혁신성과 창출을 위해서는 지역별 특성을 고려한 차별화된 정책 접근이 필요하다. 특히, 충북 및 충남과 같이 제조업 기반의 비수도권 도 단위 지역에서 영토적 서비스 화 전략을 추진하는 것이 필요하므로 이를 육성하는 종합지원정책 수립이 필요하다.
