This research aims at examining the notions of a conjunctural crisis and Indonesia as a region of culture in an anthology of poetry entitled Peradaban Baru Corona: 99 Puisi Wartawan Penyair Indonesia (Corona New Civilization: 99 Poems by Indonesian Journalist Poets). The contextual analysis found that the poems in the anthology have been influenced by religious literary tradition in Indonesia and socio-politically the anthology accommodates the circumstances of Indonesian society while experiencing and responding to COVID-19 pandemic. As for the cultural context, the anthology seems to emphasize the role of religion and tradition in coping with any crisis. The institutional analysis found, among other things, that Indonesian government seems to be responsible to institutionally emphasize the importance of spirituality besides physicality to come to terms with crises. In conclusion, unlike a secular state, Indonesia as a region of culture does not separate the roles of spirituality and physicality in the struggle for survival, resilience and sustainability in dealing with COVID -19 crisis and with any crisis on the days to come.

이 논문은 시집 『Peradaban Baru Corona: 99 Puisi Wartawan Penyair Indonesia』 (코로나 신 문명: 인도네시아 기자 시인의 시 99편)에 나타난 인도네시아 지역문화 와 결합적 위기 개념을 검토하는 것을 목표로 한다. 맥락적 분석에 따르면 이 시집에 실린 시들은 인도네시아의 종교적 문학 전통의 영향을 받은 것으로 나타났 다. 사회정치적 맥락에서는 인도네시아 사회가 코로나19 팬데믹을 경험하고 대응 하는 상황을 담고 있는 시집이다. 문화적 맥락의 측면에서 이 시집은 위기에 대처하는 데 있어서 종교와 전통의 역할을 강조하는 것으로 보인다. 제도적 분석 결과, 인도네시아 정부는 위기 상황에 대처하기 위해 물질적 측면 외에도 영적 측면의 중요성을 제도적으로 강조하는 책임을 지고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 세속 국가와는 달리, 인도네시아 지역문화에서는 코로나19 위기와 앞으로 닥칠 위기에 대처하는 과정에서 생존, 회복력, 지속 가능성을 위한 투쟁에서 영적 측면과 물질적 측면의 역할을 분리하지 않았음을 알 수 있다.
