In the 2022 revised curriculum, elementary computer science education must be organized and operated for at least 34 hours using school autonomy time, etc. However, there is no framework for time management or core content areas for elementary computer science education. In this study, we designed a framework for elementary computer science education to ensure at least 34 hours of information/artificial intelligence education for elementary students to develop digital literacy. The framework was designed based on analysis of the 2022 revised curriculum, elementary and middle school artificial intelligence content standards, and the 2023 AI Leading School Operation Guidebook. Papert's constructionism, which promotes the development of computational thinking through concrete manipulation activities centered on play and experience, serves as the basis for the framework design. The proposed elementary computer science education framework is expected to serve as the basis for organizing the extended elementary information education curriculum.

2022 개정 교육과정에서 초등 정보교육은 학교 자율시간 등을 활용하여 최소 34시간 이상 편성·운영되어야 한다. 하지만, 초등 정보교육을 위한 시수 운영이나 핵심 내용 영역에 대한 프레임워크의 부재로 초등학생들을 대상으로 한 정보교육 보장과 디지털 소양 개발에 어려움이 있다. 본 연구에서는 초등 정보교육을 위한 시수 운 영과 내용 영역에 대한 정보를 결합한 프레임워크를 설계하고자 하였다. 프레임워크는 2022 개정 교육과정, 초· 중등 인공지능 내용 기준, 2023 AI 선도학교 운영 가이드북 등에 대한 분석을 토대로 설계되었다. 놀이·체험 중 심의 구체적 조작 활동을 통한 컴퓨팅 사고력 개발을 도모하는 Papert의 구성주의적 관점이 프레임워크 설계의 바탕이 된다. 본 연구에서 제시한 정보교육 프레임워크는 학교 여건에 따라 시간과 내용을 고려한 초등 정보 교 과 편성의 기초가 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
