This study was conducted to identify factors affecting moral sensitivity, empathy and clinical competence in nursing students. The subjects of this study were 191 nursing students in the fourth grade of J University located in J city. Data were collected using an online questionnaire. As a result of the study, the clinical competence of nursing students was significantly correlated with moral sensitivity (r=.393, p<.001) and empathy (r=.377, p<.001). The factor affecting the clinical competence of nursing students is moral sensitivity (t=4.262, p<.001), empathy (t=3.472, p=.001) was identified, and the explanatory power of these variables was 20.9%. Through the results of this study, in order to improve the clinical performance of nursing students, it will be possible to provide basic data for curriculum and program development on moral sensitivity and empathy.

본 연구는 간호대학생을 대상으로 도덕적 민감성, 공감능력과 임상수행능력에 미치는 영향요인을 규명하고 자 수행되었다. 본 연구의 대상자는 J시에 소재한 J대학교 4학년 간호대학생 191명이었다. 자료는 온라인 설문을 이용하여 수집하였다. 연구 결과 간호대학생의 임상수행능력은 도덕적 민감성(r= .393, p<.001), 공감능력(r=.377, p<.001)과 유의한 상관관계를 나타내었다. 간호대학생의 임상수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인은 도덕적 민감성 (t=4.262, p<.001), 공감능력(t=3.472, p=.001)으로 확인되었고 이들 변수의 설명력은 20.9%였다. 본 연구 결과 를 통해 간호대학생의 임상수행능력을 향상시키기 위해서는 도덕적 민감성과 공감에 대한 교육 과정 및 프로그램 개발의 기초자료를 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
