- This study aims to confirm the effect of the self-esteem of significant caregivers in elderly families with dementia on resilience and the mediating role of social support in this relationship. To this end, a survey was conducted on major caregivers in elderly families with dementia to measure self-esteem, resilience, and social support (emotional support and instrumental support), and the research hypotheses were verified through regression analysis. As a result of the study, it was found that self-esteem had a positive effect on resilience, and social support partially mediated the relationship between self-esteem and resilience. In particular, it is of great academic significance that emotional and instrumental support play a role in differentially contributing to self-esteem and resilience. The practical expected effect of this study is to present specific support directions that can help the psychological stability of major caregivers. It suggests that enhancing the resilience of main supporters through the creation of an environment that increases self-esteem and provides various forms of social support can contribute to increasing the sustainability of dementia care.

- 본 연구는 치매노인 가족 주부양자의 자존감이 회복탄력성에 미치는 영향과, 이 관계에서 사회적지지의 매 개 역할을 확인하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 치매노인 가족 주부양자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 자존 감, 회복탄력성, 사회적지지(정서적 지지 및 도구적 지지)를 측정하고, 회귀분석을 통해 연구 가설들을 검증하였다. 연구 결과, 자존감은 회복탄력성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 사회적지지가 자존감과 회복탄력성 간의 관계를 부분적 으로 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 정서적 지지와 도구적 지지 각각이 자존감과 회복탄력성에 차별적으로 기여 하는 역할을 한다는 점에서 학문적 의의가 크다. 본 연구의 실무적 기대효과로는 주부양자의 심리적 안정을 도울 수 있는 구체적 지원 방향을 제시하는 데 있다. 자존감을 높이고 다양한 형태의 사회적지지를 제공하는 환경 조성을 통 해 주부양자의 회복탄력성을 증진시키는 것이 치매 돌봄의 지속 가능성을 높이는 데 기여할 수 있음을 시사한다.
