The quarrels of political discourse, large and small enough to be called excesses of politics, are now exploding everywhere in our society. This is because of private desires or their superficial solidarity according to interests take the place of the “ideology of the past era,” and everything in everyday life has been “politicized.” However, behind this situation, which can be said to be a decline in politics in that the psychological expression of internal desire takes precedence over the critical reflection of external reality, lies the weakened poetic(artistic) expression or humanistic expression that are at the corner of aesthetic modernity. Putting everything else aside, in order to create a healthier society by resolving the wasteful confrontations and conflicts caused by the political disturbance of our daily lives, it seems necessary to take aesthetic - philosophical logic which first to elevate the political nature of poetic(artistic) expression or humanistic expression that can properly control such commotion. This article reveals the critical convergence of modernism and realism in post-modern positions, and through this, will point out a way to strengthen the weakened political nature of the practice of poetic(artistic) expression or humanistic expression, and further, of numerous social resistance practices.

정치의 과잉이라 말할 수 있을 만큼 크고 작은 정치적 담론의 ‘대립/ 갈등’이 지금 우리사회 일상의 도처에서 폭발한다. ‘지난 시대의 이념’ 의 자리를 이해관계에 따른 사적 욕망들 혹은 그것들의 ‘감상/피상’적 연대가 대신하며, 일상의 모든 것이 ‘정치화’되었기 때문이다. 그러나 ‘내적 욕구의 심리적 표출’이 ‘외적 현실의 비판적 반영’에 앞선다는 점에서 말과는 달리 사실은 정치성의 퇴락이라고 말해야 할 이 사태의 이면에는, “언어의 본질은 시”라는 현상학적 사실을 고려하고 하는 말인데, 근대의 궁지에 닿아있는 ‘시적 표현’의 약화된 정치성이 있다. 다른 것은 차치하고 우리 일상의 정치적 소란이 빚는 소모적 대립과 갈등을 넘어, 그 소란을 올바로 제어할 ‘시적 표현’의 정치성을 달리 제고 해줄 ‘미학-철학’적 논리가 우선 필요해 보인다. 이 글은 문학[시 (詩)]의 모더니즘과 리얼리즘이 탈근대의 자리에서 비판적으로 수렴되 는 지점>을 짚어본 후, 이를 통해 ‘시적 표현’의 약화 된 정치성을 강화할 당대 철학 논지의 요체를 가리킨다.
