The purpose of this study was to diagnose the limitations and implications of Korean studies on field-based service learning in adapted physical activity and to suggest directions for future research. For this purpose, 156 Korean educational service learning studies were analyzed using the systematic review method, and a total of 11 relevant studies were finally selected. The results of the study showed that in terms of methodology, qualitative studies accounted for a larger proportion of the studies than quantitative studies, and the results of the studies revealed similarly structured narratives. The participants of the programs were mostly children with developmental disabilities, and it was difficult to find studies that included people with disabilities or their caregivers as participants, with the exception of one study. In addition, compared to international studies, Korean studies lacked theoretical classification and explanation of educational service. Based on these findings, we derived implications for research on service learning in adapted physical activity and suggested directions for future research.

본 연구는 국내에서 발표된 특수체육 현장 기반 교육봉사 관련 연구 의 한계와 의의를 진단하고 향후 관련 연구의 방향을 제안하는 것을 목 적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내에서 발표된 교육봉사 연구 156편을 체계적 문헌고찰 연구 방법을 활용하여 분석하였으며, 그 결과 총 11편 의 관련 연구가 최종 선정되었다. 연구 결과, 연구의 방법론적 측면에서 질적연구로 진행된 연구가 양적연구로 진행된 연구보다 큰 비중을 차지 하고 있었으며, 이러한 방법론적 특성에 따라 연구 결과 또한 비슷한 구 조를 갖는 내러티브를 드러내고 있었다. 프로그램 대상자는 대부분 발달 장애 아동들이었으며, 장애 당사자나 이들의 보호자를 연구참여자로 포 함하고 있는 연구는 1편을 제외하면 찾아보기 어려웠다. 또한, 해외 관 련 연구물들과 비교했을 때 국내 연구물들은 교육봉사에 대한 이론적 구분이나 설명이 미흡한 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 특수체육 현장 기반 교육봉사 관련 연구의 시사점을 도출하고 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다.
