The purpose and significance of this study is to examine the possibility and limitations of subject-centered anti-violence discourses discussed on the subject of violence periodically observed in sports using constructivist cognitive theory. As a result of the study, the existing subject-centered anti-violence discourse asked the same question,‘What is violence in terms of concept and fact?’Through this, the possibility of anti-violence discourse was made public through the law of side effects and ideological fulfillment. However, the discussion of subject-centered anti-violence discourse. First, the anti-violence discourse based on the premise that there is violence (exist) in sports is borrowed only from the theory and methodology of metaphysical ontology. Second, based on this, we could not overcome the blind spot of the first grade observer by observing the violence of sports in terms of concept and fact. Third, current violence in sports excludes that it starts from structural problems.

본 연구는 구성주의 인지이론을 활용하여 스포츠에서 주기적으로 관 찰되는 폭력을 주제로 논의된 주체중심 반-폭력 담론의 가능성과 한계 를 살펴보는데 그 목적과 의의가 있다. 연구 결과. 기존 주체중심 반-폭 력 담론은 개념과 사실의 관점에서‘폭력이란 무엇인가?’, ‘스포츠에 서 폭력을 근절하기 위해서는 무엇을 누구에게 어떻게 해야 하는가?’ 와 같은 물음을 통해 개별 주체에게 책임을 전가 시켰으며 특히 스포츠 의 주체들에게 윤리교육, 도덕교육, 법적처벌을 동반한 측면효과와 관념 충족의 법칙을 통해 반-폭력 담론의 가능성들을 공고히 하였다. 그러나 주체중심 반-폭력 담론의 논의는 다음과 같은 이유로 한계를 드러낸다. 첫째, ‘스포츠에서 폭력이 있다(존재한다)’라는 전제를 둔 반-폭력 담 론은 오로지 형이상학적 존재론의 이론과 방법론만을 차용하였고. 둘째, 이를 근거로 스포츠의 폭력을 개념과 사실의 측면에서 관찰함으로서 일 차등급 관찰자의 맹점을 극복하지 못하였으며. 셋째, 스포츠에서 현행화 된 폭력은 구조적 문제로부터 출발한다는 것을 배제하고 있다.
