This study aimed to identify current research trends through a scoping review of intervention studies utilizing music-integrated digital therapeutics for patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Based on the findings, the study sought to propose future research directions and implications for the integration of music and digital technologies in MCI treatment. Using a methodology based on a scoping review protocol, international studies published between 2011 and 2024 were analyzed. Relevant databases, including PubMed, Embase, ProQuest, Web of Science, and CINAHL, were searched using keywords such as "mild cognitive impairment," "music," "intervention," "computer," and "tablet." Among the 928 studies identified, 12 met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed to examine the general characteristics of MCI interventions using music-integrated digital therapeutics and the therapeutic applications of music and digital technologies. Furthermore, the study explored the digital devices and systems delivering the interventions, measurement tools used across intervention domains, and the functions and mechanisms of music and digital devices. The results demonstrated that music-integrated digital therapeutics positively influence cognitive and emotional functions in MCI patients, highlighting their significance as effective interventions for the elderly. Specifically, music provided auditory stimulation and emotional stability, contributing to improved cognitive function and quality of life. The integration of digital devices enabled personalized interventions, enhancing usability and adaptability for individual users.

본 연구는 음악융합 디지털 치료제를 활용한 경도인지장애(MCI) 환자 중재 연구를 대상으로 주제범위 문헌고찰 을 통해 현재까지의 연구 동향을 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 향후 MCI 치료에서 음악과 디지털 기술의 융합 사용에 관한 연구 방향과 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 주제범위 문헌고찰 프로토콜을 기반으로 한 방법론에 따라, 2011년부터 2024년까지 발표된 국외 연구를 대상으로 국외 데이터베이스(Pubmed, Embase, ProQuest, Web of Science, CINAHL)에서 ‘mild cognitive impairment’, ‘music’, ‘intervention’, ‘Computer’, ‘Tablet’ 등을 핵심어로 검색하였다. 검색된 928편 중 선정 기준에 부합하는 최종 12편의 문헌을 분석하여, 음악융합 디지털 치료제를 활용한 MCI 중재 연구의 일반적 특성과 음악 및 디지털 기술의 사용 범위를 조사하였다. 아울러, 중재를 제공하는 디지털 기기와 시스템, 중재 영역별 측정 도구, 그리고 음악과 디지털 기기의 기능 및 메커니즘을 탐구하였다. 연구 결과, 음악융합 디지털 치료제는 MCI 환자의 인지 및 정서 기능 개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미치며, 고령층 MCI 환자에게 유의미한 중재로 작용함을 확인하였다. 특히, 음악은 청각 자극과 정서적 안정감을 제공함으로써 인지기능과 삶의 질을 향상시켰고, 디지털 기기와의 결합을 통해 사용자 맞춤형 중재가 가능함을 발견하였다.
