This study aimed to statistically identify the relationship among elementary school students’ exercise participation level, sports sociality, relationships with teacher and classmates, and school life satisfaction. Specifically, it aimed to verify the Serial multiple mediating effects of sports sociality and relationships with teacher and classmates in the relationship between exercise participation level and school life satisfaction. To this end, 89 elementary school 5th and 6th grade students were targeted, and the weekly exercise frequency, total exercise time, sports sociality, relationships with teacher and classmates, and school life satisfaction were measured, and descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation modeling were conducted on the collected data. The results of this study are as follows. First, elementary school students’ exercise participation level is positively correlated with sports sociality, relationships with teachers and classmates, and school life satisfaction. Second, sports sociality, relationships with teachers and classmates, and school life satisfaction are positively correlated with each other. Third, sports sociality and relationships with teacher and classmates have serial multiple mediating effects in the relationship between exercise participation level and school life satisfaction. Through the above results, it was confirmed that the higher the level of elementary school students' participation in sports, the more their sports sociality improved, and that sports sociality can positively influence the formation of relationships with teachers and classmates within the school, thereby increasing satisfaction with school life.

본 연구는 초등학생의 운동 참여 수준, 스포츠 사회성, 교사 및 교우관계, 학교생활 만족도 간의 관계를 통계적 으로 규명하고자 하였다. 구체적으로 운동 참여 수준과 학교생활 만족도 간의 관계에서 스포츠 사회성과 교사/ 교우관계의 다중 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생 89명을 대상으로 주간 운동 빈도, 총 운동시간, 스포츠 사회성, 교사 및 교우관계, 학교생활 만족도를 측정하였고, 수집된 자료에 대한 기술 통계분석, 상관분석, 구조방정식 모형 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 도출한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학 생의 운동 참여 수준은 스포츠 사회성, 교사와의 관계, 교우관계, 학교생활 만족도와 정적 상관관계를 갖는다. 둘째, 스포츠 사회성, 교사와의 관계, 교우관계, 학교생활 만족도는 서로 정적 상관관계를 갖는다. 셋째, 운동 참 여 수준과 학교생활 만족도 간의 관계에서 스포츠 사회성과 교사/교우관계는 직렬 다중 매개효과를 지닌다. 이 상의 결과를 통해서 초등학생들의 운동 참여 수준이 높을수록 스포츠 사회성이 향상되고, 스포츠 사회성은 학교 내에서 교사 및 교우와의 관계를 긍정적으로 형성하는 것에 영향을 주어 학교생활 만족도를 제고할 수 있음을 확인하였다.
