This article argues that the -as- in the Old Korean texts written in Seokdokgugyol(釋讀口訣) means inferred certainty, and there is a diachronic relationship between this -as- and the mirativity marker -os- in Late Middle Korean. In particular, it explains the allomorphic relationship between -dos- and -os- with suppletion, brought by the mirativity extension of inferential evidential -os-. It suggests that among the three grammatical forms of -das/ras-, -nos- and -syas-, which have -os-, only in -das/ras- was preserved the inferred evidentiality, leading to its different historical development compared to -nos- and -syas-.

이 글은 석독구결에 나타나는 ‘-3七 -[앗]’ 형태의 기능을 추론된 확신이라는 증거성 표지로 분석하고, 이 형태의 기능과 후기 중세 한국어 ‘-옷-’의 기능을 비교하여 이들의 관련성을 검토한 것이다. 특히 ‘-옷-’과 ‘-돗-’의 차이를 중심으로 추론적 증거성을 나타내던 ‘- 3七-’의 후대형 ‘-옷-’이 깨달음성 표지로 확장되면서 ‘-돗-’과보충법 관계를 이루는 통시적 변화 시나리오를 제안하였다. 또한 ‘-옷-’의 추론적 증거성 의미가 선어말어미 ‘-더-’와 결합한 ‘-닷/랏-’ 환경에서 보존되었다고 보고, ‘-놋-’, ‘-샷-’이 ‘-돗-’에 밀려나 일찍 쇠퇴한 데 비해 ‘-닷/랏-’이 그보다 오래 살아 남은 까닭을 의미의 차이로 설명하였다.
