- As a traditional folk art, jacquard fabric Lu brocade represents the essence of China's intangible cultural heritage, and its folk cultural connotation and visual representative symbols reflect the unique lifestyle in Southwest Shandong Province, China. From the perspective of multicultural and economic integration, Lu brocade's cultural inheritance is facing severe challenges, and the traditional forms of publicity urgently need modernization and transformation. In this paper, the visual symbols of Lu brocade are taken as the main research objects, combind with the weaving method, pattern expression and color collocation, to deeply explore the cultural connotation contained in the visual form of Lu brocade. Based on an understanding of the traditional weaving technology, its innovative integration with modernity is explored using a visual translation activation experiment of practical significance. The visual design language of Lu brocade is also incorporated in this process to promote and revive the intangible cultural heritage.
