Marine heritage is an important resource for coastal and marine tourism, and its value and significance are continuously emphasized. Marine heritage includes both natural environments and cultural heritage, and protecting and utilizing it is essential for sustainable coastal and marine tourism. This study aims to analyze big data related to marine heritage in the endemic era using text mining techniques, examining online reviews, comments, blogs, and news to understand public perceptions and attitudes toward marine heritage and to propose strategies for promoting coastal and marine tourism. From May 5, 2023, to May 4, 2024, 56,189 Korean text data were collected and analyzed from Naver and Google channels. First, 90 key terms related to marine heritage were derived through TF-IDF analysis, and the importance of each key term was evaluated. Subsequently, semantic network analysis was used to visualize the relationships between words, constructing a network and assessing the centrality of each term. Additionally, the CONCOR algorithm was utilized to form four network clusters: “marine heritage”, “perceptions and attitudes”, “tourism and travel”, and “support and protection”. The results indicate that the public shows high interest in marine heritage, demonstrating positive perceptions and attitudes. Tourism is highlighted as a primary means of connecting marine heritage with the public, and this connection is strengthened through experiential activities related to coastal and marine tourism. Moreover, the necessity for legal and policy measures, as well as promotion through mass media for the protection and support of marine heritage, was emphasized. It was also confirmed that educational and participatory programs targeting the younger generation are needed to enhance the protection and support of marine heritage. This study will contribute to confirming the value and importance of marine heritage in the endemic era and to proposing measures for the preservation of marine heritage and the promotion of coastal and marine tourism. The results will provide essential foundational data for policy formulation for the preservation and utilization of marine heritage and contribute to the sustainable development of the coastal and marine tourism industry.

해양유산은 해양관광의 중요한 자원으로서 그 가치와 중요성이 지속적으로 강조되고 있다. 해양유산은 자연환경과 문화유산을 포함하며, 이를 보호하고 활용하는 것은 지속 가능한 해양관광을 위해 필수적이다. 본 연구는 텍스트 마이닝 기법을 활용하여 엔데믹 시대에 해양유산 과 관련된 온라인 리뷰, 댓글, 블로그, 뉴스 등 빅데이터를 분석하고, 대중의 해양유산에 대한 인식과 태도를 파악하여 해양관광 활성화 방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 2023년 5월 5일부터 2024년 5월 4일까지 네이버(Naver)와 구글(Google) 채널에서 56,189건의 한국어 텍스트 데이터를 수집하고 분석하였다. 먼저 TF-IDF 분석을 통해 해양유산과 관련된 90개의 핵심 단어를 도출하여 각 핵심 단어의 중요성을 평가하였다. 이어서 의미 연결망 분석을 통해 단어들 간의 관계를 시각화하여 네트워크를 구축하고, 각 단어의 중심성을 평가하였다. CONCOR 알고리즘을 활용하여 ‘해양유산’, ‘인식과 태도’, ‘관광과 여행’, ‘지원과 보호’의 4개 네트워크 클러스터를 형성하였다. 연구결 과, 대중은 해양유산에 대해 높은 관심을 드러냈으며, 긍정적인 인식과 태도를 나타냈다. 관광은 해양유산과 대중을 연결하는 주요 수단으로 강조되었으며, 해양관광과 관련된 체험 활동을 통해 이러한 연결이 강화되었다. 또한 법적 및 정책적 조치와 대중매체를 이용한 홍보를 통해 해양유산 보호와 지원의 필요성이 강조되었으며, 젊은 세대를 대상으로 실시한 교육 및 참여 프로그램을 통해 해양유산 보호와 지원이 강화될 필요가 있음을 확인하였다. 본 연구는 엔데믹 시대에 해양유산의 가치와 중요성을 확인하고, 해양유산 보존 및 해양관광 활성화 방안을 제시하는 데 기여할 것이다. 연구결과는 해양유산의 보존과 활용을 위한 정책 수립에 중요한 기초 자료를 제공하며, 해양관 광 산업의 지속 가능한 발전에도 기여할 것이다.
