This study seeks to explore and illuminate the professional experiences of SNPE (Self Natural Posture Exercise) instructors through narrative inquiry, while also identifying potential avenues for future development. By thoroughly understanding and reinterpreting the backgrounds and circumstances of the participants, this research aims to establish the value and significance of their professional activities. A narrative inquiry methodology was employed to gain an in-depth understanding of both the personal and practical experiences of SNPE instructors. The study involved four participants who have been actively engaged in SNPE instruction for over five years. The key findings are as follows: First, participants expressed deep satisfaction with their current professional roles, with no regrets about leaving their previous careers. They exhibited a strong attachment to their current positions, alongside high levels of satisfaction with their economic activities and confidence in physical tasks. Second, while participants generally expressed satisfaction with the SNPE certification process, they also highlighted the need for improvement, particularly when encountering instructors who were insufficiently qualified. Third, participants felt a strong sense of satisfaction with their social status as health professionals and with the stable, trusting relationships they had cultivated with their students. Future research could expand on these findings by examining SNPE instructors across the country, thereby contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the profession and aiding in career exploration. This study aspires to serve as a valuable reference for understanding various professional fields and assist individuals in making informed career choices.

본 연구는 내러티브 탐구를 통해 SNPE(Self Natural Posture Exercise) 강사들의 직업적 경험을 탐색하고 조명 하며, 향후 발전 가능성을 모색하는 것을 목표로 한다. 또한, 본 연구는 참가자들의 배경과 현상을 이해하고 재해석함으로 써, 그들의 직업 활동의 가치와 중요성을 확립하고자 한다. 연구 방법으로는 내러티브 탐구가 사용되었으며, 이를 통해 SNPE 강사들의 개인적 및 실무적 경험을 심층적으로 분석하였다. 참여대상은 SNPE 강사로서 5년 이상 활동한 네 명의 전문강사가 참여하였다. 이를 통해 나타난 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참가자들은 현재의 직업에 대해 깊은 만족을 표현했으며, 이전 직업을 떠난 것에 대해 후회가 없었다. 그들은 현재의 직업에 강한 애착을 보였고, 경제 활동에 대한 높은 만족도와 신체적 과업에 대한 자신감을 나타냈다. 둘째, 참가자들은 SNPE 자격 인증 과정에 대체로 만족했지만, 충분히 자격을 갖추지 못한 강사들을 접했을 때 개선의 필요성을 강조했다. 셋째, 참가자들은 건강 전문가로서의 사회적 지위와 학생들과의 안정적이고 신뢰할 수 있는 관계에 대해 강한 만족감을 느꼈다. 이러한 결과는 향후 연구에서는 전국의 SNPE 강사들을 대상으로 연구를 확장하여 이 직업에 대한 더 포괄적인 이해를 돕고, 직업 탐색에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 또한, 다양한 직업 분야를 이해하는 데 유용한 참고자료로 활용되기를 바라며, 개인이 정보에 기반한 직업 선택을 할 수 있도록 돕는 데 기여하고자 한다.
