Based on the regional industry association table published by the Bank of Korea (as of 2015, July 2022), this study analyzed the economic ripple effect of R&D investment in the southeastern region of Korea (Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam) on each region of the country and the economic ripple effect on individual industries in the southeast region. As a result of analyzing the economic effect of R&D investment in the southeast region on each region, it was found that the effect was the highest in the southeast region, which is its own region, in all sectors such as the production inducement coefficient, the value-added inducement coefficient, and the employment inducement coefficient, followed by the high economic ripple effect on the metropolitan area. In addition, as a result of analyzing the effect of R&D investment in the southeast region on each industry in the southeast region, it was found that the production inducement effect had a large ripple effect on the manufacturing sector, and the job creation effect had a large economic ripple effect on the service industry.

본 연구는 한국은행이 공표한 지역산업연관표(2015년 기준, 2022.7.)를 토대로 지역산업연관분석을 활용하여 우리나라 동남권(부산·울산·경남)의 연구개발투자가 전국 각 권역에 미치는 경제적 파급효과와 동남권의 개별 산업에 미치는 경제적 파급효과를 분석하였다. 동남권의 연구개발투자가 각 권역에 미치는 경제적 효과를 분석한 결과, 생산유발계수, 부가가치유발계수, 취업유발계수 등 모든 부문에서 자기 지역인 동남권 지역에서 효과가 가장 높았고, 이어서 수도권에 미치는 경제적 파급효과가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 아울러, 동남권의 연구개발투자가 동남권의 각 산업에 미치는 효과를 분석한 결과, 생산유발효과는 제조업 분야에 대한 파급효과가 크고, 고용 창출 효과는 서비스산업에 대한 경제적 파급효과가 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다.
