The quality of aviation maintenance is greatly influenced by the individual knowledge, ability, and experience of the aviation mechanic. Differences in the individual abilities of aircraft mechanics directly affect the quality of aircraft maintenance. In this way, aviation maintenance must be performed by professional personnel based on specialized knowledge. The Coast Guard performs its duties at sea using large equipment such as ships and aircraft, and is currently running specialized courses at the Korea Coast Guard Academy or the Coast Guard Education and Training Center to get the expertise and technical skills necessary to operate ship equipment but There is currently no specialized course for aircraft mechanics who perform maintenance and management work. As an aviation mechanic who maintains and manages the functions of aircraft and its parts, an understanding of aircraft systems and knowledge of equipment operation procedures are required, and a lack of knowledge and skills can cause mistakes. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the current status and problems of the aviation maintenance curriculum required for the operation of Coast Guard aircraft and propose ways to improve it. As a research method, through a literature review, we examine maintenance education and training laws and the operation of specialized aviation maintenance courses by domestic national agencies such as the Korea Forest Service and the National Fire Agency. As improvement measures, First, we suggest directions for establishing a specialized aviation maintenance course for the Coast Guard and second, We propose a plan to get the necessary professors and improve the educational environment for the specialized aviation maintenance course, and thirdly, we propose ways to improve the educational environment for both senior and new Policeman.

항공 정비 품질은 항공정비사 개인 지식, 능력, 경험에 따라 크게 영향을 받게 된다. 항공정비사의 개인 능력의 차이는 곧 항공 정비 품질에 영향을 미친다. 이처럼 항 공 정비행위는 전문적인 지식을 바탕으로 전문 요원에 의해서 이루어져야 한다. 해양 경찰은 바다에서 함정·항공기 등 대형장비를 활용하여 임무를 수행하고 있으며, 함정 장비 운용에 필요한 전문성과 기술력 확보를 위해 해양경찰교육원 또는 해양경찰 직무교육훈련센터에서 전문과정을 현재 운영 중이나, 항공기 유지·보수와 관리업무를 하는 항공정비사에 대한 전문과정은 현재 없는 실정이다. 항공기와 그 부분품들의 기 능을 유지하고, 관리하는 항공정비사로서는 항공기 시스템의 이해와 장비작동 절차의 지식이 요구되며, 이에 대한 지식과 기술이 부족하면 실수를 범하는 원인이 된다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 해양경찰 항공기 운용에 필요한 항공 정비 전문과정의 현실태 및 문제점을 살펴보고 개선 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 연구 방법으로 문헌 검토를 통 해 정비 교육훈련 법령과 국내 국가기관인 산림청, 소방청의 항공 정비 전문과정 운 영에 대하여 살펴보고, 개선 방안으로 첫째, 해양경찰 항공 정비 전문과정 교과목 편 성(안)을 제안하고, 둘째, 항공 정비 전문과정에 필요한 교수요원 확보 방안 제시하 고, 셋째, 재직자와 신규임용자의 교육환경 개선 방안을 제언하고자 한다
