This study focuses on the Universal Peace Federation which is Faith-based FBO as the research subject, paying special attention to the relationship between members of calling, innovative behavior, and self-efficacy to achieve both religious and civil society objectives. The research findings are as follows: First, results from the mean and normality analysis showed that altruism (4.01) and meaning and value (4.01) scored highest, followed by leadership (3.93), idea implementation (3.82), and idea proposal (3.80). Second, the reliability analysis indicated that meaning and value (.877), altruism (.870), innovative idea proposal (.835), innovative idea implementation (.825), self-efficacy (.825), and leadership (.806) had the highest satisfactory reliability levels. Altruism and meaning and value exhibited the most satisfactory reliability. Third, correlation analysis results indicated significant positive correlations between calling, innovative behavior, and self-efficacy. Fourth, multiple regression analysis results showed that only altruism and meaning and value had significant positive effects on innovative idea proposal and implementation, while leadership, altruism, and meaning and value had significant positive effects on self-efficacy. Through research, the Universal Peace Federation took measures to strengthen the sense of calling by developing a program to strengthen the of calling for members, training instructors, creating an educational environment, securing members with diverse backgrounds, establishing policies to foster experts in the field, and improving organizational culture. 본 연구는 신앙기반 FBO인 천주평화연합을 연구대상으로 조직이 궁극적으로 추 구하는 종교적 목적 달성과 시민사회 활동으로서의 목적 달성을 위해 천주평화연합 회원의 소명의식과 혁신행동 간의 관계에 주목하였다. 소명의식이 혁신행동에 미치 는 영향을 연구하기 위해 천주평화연합 회원 350명을 대상으로 설문조사를 진행하 였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째 평균분석과 정규성 분석 결과, 이타주의(4.01), 의미와 가치(4.01)가 가장 높았고, 선도력(3.93), 아이디어 실행(3.82), 아이디어 제안 (3.80) 순으로 나타났다. 둘째 요인분석 결과, 신뢰도는 의미와 가치(.877), 이타주의 (.870), 혁신적인 아이디어 제안(.835), 혁신적인 아이디어 실행(.825), 선도력(.806) 순으로 나타나, 의미와 가치와 이타주의가 가장 만족스러운 신뢰도 수준을 지녔다. 셋째, 상관관계 분석 결과, 소명의식과 혁신행동 간에는 유의수준에서 유의한 정(+) 의 상관관계가 나타나는 것으로 분석되었다. 넷째, 다중회귀분석 결과, 이타주의, 의 미와 가치만 혁신적인 아이디어 제안에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것을 나타났고, 이타주의, 의미와 가치만 혁신적인 아이디어 실행에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 주는 것을 나타났다. 본 연구는 천주평화연합이 소명의식 강화를 위한 조치로 회원을 대상 으로 한 소명의식 강화 프로그램 개발과 강사 양성, 교육환경 조성, 다양한 배경을 가진 회원 확보, 해당 분야의 전문가 양성 정책 마련, 조직문화개선이 필요함을 천 주평화연합에 제안한다.
