- An Introduction to Korean Dance [Hangugchum Chonglon] is a book written together by Kim Onkyung [Kim Ongyeong] and her daughter Yun Yeosuk [Yun Yeosug], who are continuing the tradition of Busan dance. The reason why this book is different from existing studies on the history of Korean dance is because it seeks to approach the essence of Korean dance by focusing on the background, type, form, and content of various aspects of Korean dance. In addition, the value of this book is very high in that it discovers and introduces many local and folk dances that have been neglected in official history. Many of the photos of folk dances and performance analyzes included in this book were collected by the authors while visiting various places. This effort is also a noble passion inherited from her late father, Kim Dong-min(1910-1999).
