The purpose of this study is to explore strategies for multicultural education in moral education. To achieve this, it first examines potential issues in a multicultural society based on the affect heuristic. According to the affect heuristic theory, humans rely on affect to make judgments and decisions, often leading to biased judgments in matters related to benefits and risks. Considering this, the emotions present in today's multicultural society may make it impossible to rationally prepare policies or systems necessary for a multicultural society, and may also lead to biased judgments in matters of interpersonal conflict, deepening divisions among members. Therefore, this study discusses the need for the activation of emotional aspects in multicultural education, suggesting the necessity of guidance on improving sensitivity to emotional recognition and addressing the bias of information affecting emotions. Furthermore, it proposes specific strategies: utilizing the Mood Meter for the former and exploring new information for the latter.

본 연구의 목적은 도덕과에서의 다문화교육 방안을 모색하는 데 있 다. 이를 위해 먼저 감정 어림짐작을 토대로 다문화사회에 발생할 수 있는 문제를 살펴본다. 감정 어림짐작 이론에 따르면, 인간은 감정에 의존해 판단과 결정을 내릴 수 있으며, 특히 이점 및 위험성 관련 문 제에서 편향된 판단을 할 수 있다. 이를 토대로 살펴볼 때, 다문화에 대한 감정에 따라 다문화사회에 필요한 정책이나 제도를 합리적으로 마련하지 못할 수 있으며, 또한 대인 갈등 문제에서도 편향된 판단을 이끌어 구성원 간의 분열을 심화할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 감정적 측면의 다문화교육이 활성화되어야 함을 논의하면서, ‘감정 인식의 민감성 향상을 위한 지도’와 ‘감정에 영향을 미치는 정보 편향에 대한 지 도’가 필요함을 제시한다. 나아가 구체적인 방안으로 전자와 관련하여 무드 미터(Mood Meter) 활용 방안을, 후자와 관련하여 새로운 정보 탐색 방안을 제안한다.
