In this article, I will look at Geumdang Lee Jae Bok’s perspectives on dāna pāramitā and kṣānti pāramitā in his doctrinal discipline. Chapter 2 reveals that the basic position of Lee Jae Bok's doctrinal discipline is expressed in “the missionary direction of korean buddhism”. These include that buddhists must have correct views on buddhism, that missionary work must be done in korean language and korean writing, and that the creation and distribution of lecture materials is related to missionary teaching materials. Ultimately, these activities are connected to his intention to train and re-educate high-quality buddhists, that is, missionaries. And Lee Jae Bok established Daejeon Buddhist Training Center and presided over as many as 1,998 buddhist services there. Chapter 3 looks at perspectives on dāna pāramitā. Lee Jae Bok seeks to interpret dāna pāramitā based on the universal spirit. This is clearly shown in the case of trying to explain dāna by quoting Plato's words. Lee Jae Bok also explains dāna pāramitā from various aspects, but what stands out most is that it is dāna of the poor, and that dāna of food involves giving one's life. Chapter 4 looks at the perspective on kṣānti pāramitā. Lee Jae Bok introduces the argument that kṣānti pāramitā is the most outstanding and good elixir. At the same time, in kṣānti pāramitā, he attempts to view kṣānti pāramitā from a universal spirit by quoting the words of Augustinus and Shakespeare.

이 글에서는 금당 이재복의 교학사상 가운데 보시바라밀과 인욕바라밀 에 대한 관점을 중심으로 살펴본다. 2장에서는 이재복의 교학 사상의 기본 적 입장이 ｢한국불교 포교의 방향｣에 나타나 있다고 밝힌다. 여기에는 불 교인이 불교에 대한 올바른 견해를 가져야 한다는 점, 포교에 관한 것은 우리말 우리글로 이루어져야 한다는 점, 강의자료를 만들어서 배포한 것은 포교용 교재와 관련이 있다는 점, 결국 이러한 활동은 수준 높은 불교인, 곧 포교사를 양성하고 재교육하겠다는 그의 의도와 연결이 된다. 그리고 이재복은 대전불교연수원을 세우고 그곳에 무려 1998회에 이르 는 법회를 주관하였다. 3장에서는 보시바라밀에 대한 관점을 살펴본다. 이 재복은 보시바라밀을 ‘보편적 정신’에 의거해서 해석하고자 한다. 그것은 플라톤의 말씀을 인용해서 보시를 설명하고자 한 사례에서 잘 나타난다. 또 이재복은 보시바라밀을 다양한 측면에서 설명하는데, 그 가운데 특히 눈에 띄는 것은 가난한 사람의 보시이고, 음식 보시가 목숨을 보시한다는 내용이다. 4장에서는 인욕바라밀에 대한 관점을 살펴본다. 이재복은 인욕 바라밀이 가장 뛰어난 장엄이고 좋은 묘약이라는 주장을 소개한다. 그러면 서 인욕바라밀에서도 아우구스티누스와 셰익스피어의 말씀을 인용하면서 인욕바라밀을 ‘보편적 정신’에서 바라보고자 시도한다.
