Teachers are important as they determine the quality of education as well as its success or failure of education. However, current church school teachers have not enough passion and dedication, and loose a sense of mission. Teacher education is being provided to properly prepare teachers. But theoretical teacher education is distancing from the field. Accordingly, teachers constantly worry about their identity and want to establish it correctly. This study seeks to suggest teacher education directions that can properly establish the identity of church school teachers. Based on the similarities between Palmer's truth community and the Family Federation's educational theory, the direction of teacher education was presented. The similarities include love, wholeness, and spiritual community. First, teacher education must enable teachers to explore their inner world. Second, teacher education should help increase relationships between teachers. Third, teacher education must be able to expand the world of love.

교사는 교육의 질은 물론 교육의 성패를 좌우하는 만큼 중요하다. 하지만 현재 기독교뿐만 아니라 가정연합 교회학교 교사는 열정과 헌신이 부족하고, 사명감이 결 핍된 경우가 많다. 교사를 바로 세우기 위해 교사 교육이 이뤄지고 있지만, 교사 교 육은 이론적 교육으로 현장과 거리감이 있다. 이에 교사들은 끊임없이 교사의 정체 성에 대해 고민하고 있다. 본 연구는 교회학교 교사의 정체성을 바로 세울 수 있는 교육을 모색하고자, 파커 파머의 진리공동체와 가정연합의 이론인 통일사상 교육론 의 유사성을 바탕으로 교사 교육의 방향성을 제시했다. 연구 결과 발견한 유사성에는 사랑, 온전성, 영적 공동체가 있다. 이를 바탕으로 첫째, 교사 교육은 내면의 세계를 탐구할 수 있게 해야 한다. 둘째, 교사 교육은 교사 간의 관계 성을 높일 수 있게 도와야 한다. 셋째, 교사 교육은 사랑의 세계를 넓힐 수 있어야 한다.
