Climate change due to global warming is causing damage all over the world. This study aims to present the climate status, response status, and missional tasks, focusing on Asia which Korean missionaries are working has the highest rate. The current status of the Asia climate crisis includes temperature rise, dryness, sea level rise, torrential rain, and glacial area reduction. However, most Asian countries’ effort to solve the climate crisis are insufficient. Asia's missional tasks in Asia for the climate crisis are as follows. First, the theological task is to fulfill ecological responsibilities of the steward who cares for the Earth through ecological repentance. Second, the historical task is to act as a prophet for the climate crisis. Third, humanity's common task is to develop an ecological civilization through solidarity for earth. All of these tasks can be achieved only when individual, church, society, the country, and global cooperation and practice are executed.

지구온난화로 인한 전 세계의 기후변화는 세계 곳곳에 피해를 속출하 고 있다. 본 연구는 한국 선교사들이 가장 높은 비율로 사역하는 아시아 지 역을 중심으로 기후 현황과 대응 상황 그리고 선교학적 과제를 제시하고자 한다. 아시아 기후 위기의 현황은 기온상승, 건조, 해수면 상승, 집중호우, 빙하 면적 감소 등이다. 그러나 기후 위기에 대한 대다수 아시아 국가의 현 실은 대응이 미흡하다. 기후 위기 시대에 대한 아시아의 선교학적 과제는 첫째, 신학적 면에서 생태적 회심을 통하여 지구를 돌보는 청지기 사명과 생태적 책임을 다하는 것이다. 둘째, 역사적 과제는 그리스도인이 기후 위 기를 알리는 예언자의 역할을 하는 것이다. 셋째, 인류 공동의 과제는 지구 를 위하여 연대를 통해 생태 문명을 발전시키는 것이다. 이 모든 과제는 개 인, 교회, 사회와 국가 그리고 전 지구적인 협력과 실천이 있어야 결과를 얻을 수 있다.
