(Purpose) The purpose of this study is to examine the pre-migration, post-migration experience, identity of the country of origin, and changes in identity after migration of Korean-Chinese and Goryeoin mid-entry youths who migrated to Korea. (Research methods) The study was conducted through in-depth interviews with 19 Korean-Chinese and Goryeoin mid-entry youths. (Findings) As a result of the study, it was found that Korean-Chinese and Goryeoin mid-entry youths have significant similarities despite their different countries of residence and migration experiences. Additionally, similar patterns emerged in the process of immigrating to Korea and in the experiences after immigrating. In addition, the identities of Korean-Chinese and Goryeoin are different due to the influence of each country's historical situation and minority policy, but they are similar in that they have ethnic identities different from those of the Korean race. (Conclusion and recommendations) After the migration, these identities continue to change in Korea, and the direction will change depending on the inclusive attitude of Koreans.

(연구목적) 본 연구는 조선족･고려인 중도입국 청소년의 한국 이주 이전의 삶과 한국 이주경험을 살펴보고, 출신 국에서 가졌던 조선족과 고려인 정체성이 어떠한지 그리고 한국 이주 이후 정체성은 어떻게 변화하였는지를 살펴보는 것이 목적이다. (연구방법) 본 연구의 조사대상은 조선족, 고려인 중도입국 청소년으로 전체 19명이며, 질적 연구방법인 심층 면 접방식으로 진행하였다. (연구결과) 연구결과에서는 조선족과 고려인이 거주한 국가에서 이주 역사가 다르고 이주경험이 달랐음에도 불 구하고 상당한 유사점이 존재하였고, 한국 이주 과정, 이주 이후 경험에서도 비슷한 면이 보였다. 그러나 조선족, 고려인 정체성은 각 국가의 역사적 상황, 소수민족 정책 등에 영향을 받으면서 서로 다른 변화경로를 밟았다. 그 럼 에도 불구하고 조선족, 고려인은 유사하게 한민족과 다른 종족적 정체성을 가지고 있었다. (결론 및 제언) 이주 이후에도 한국 거주 조선족, 고려인 청소년의 정체성은 공간과 시간의 영향을 받으면서 계속 변 화하고 있다. 이러한 변화는 다양성 수용 태도와 포용적 자세에 따라 방향이 달라진다는 점에서 고민이 필요하다.
