Museums had no original materials at all at the time of opening, reproductions of Joseon Tongsinsa materials and videos were made with the consent of the owner for the exhibition.In particular, one of the purposes of the installation was to understand and disseminate the records of Joseon envoys registered in UNESCO’s Memories of the World, so many copies of the registered composition materials are made and exhibited. However, collection of original materials is essential to the survival of museums and historical museums, and exhibitions based on research and study of collected materials are fundamental factors that enhance the significance of the museum’s existence. Furthermore, the excavation of new materials by the Korean Communications Commission after UNESCO’s “Memories of the World” registration is also considered an important factor in deepening research. The materials introduced in this article are all new materials that have not been released until now except for a few items, and many of them are of comparable value to UNESCO’s “Memories of the World.” The Tsushima Museum will continue to collect data on the entire history of exchanges between Korea and Japan, including the Joseon envoys, and the Tsushima Chosun envoys’ history museum will make efforts to gradually shift the exhibition from reproduction to original materials.

2021年秋から2022年春にかけて、日韓交流の島である対馬に二つの博 物館施設が開館した。対馬博物館とその分館である対馬朝鮮通信使歴史 館である。対馬博物館は日韓交流史を展示の柱とし、対馬朝鮮通信使歴 史館は朝鮮通信使に特化した展示を行っているものの、オリジナルの資料が 少なかったことから複製資料によって展示を構成せざるを得なかった。そのた め、両館ともに収集予算を確保して、開館当初から朝鮮通信使資料および その関連資料の収集に尽力した。 その結果、対馬博物館において朝鮮通信使資料6件6点および関連資料 2件2点の計8件8点、対馬朝鮮通信使歴史館において朝鮮通信使資料10件10点および関連資料10件11点の計20件21点を収集した。特に対馬朝鮮 通信使歴史館の収集品は、辛基秀コレクションと松原一征コレクションであ り、二人のコレクターが対馬易地聘礼などのテーマに沿って体系的に収集し た資料である。 両館が収集した資料は、数点を除いてこれまで公開される機会のなかった 新出の資料が多く、ユネスコ世界の記憶登録構成資料も1点含まれてい る。また、金義信書屏風、韓時覚筆布袋図、李礥賛狩野即誉筆 諸葛武侯真図などの芸術的に優れた作品もある。 本稿は、今後の朝鮮通信使研究に資するため、これらの収集資料を1点 ごとに紹介するとともに、ユネスコ世界の記憶登録後の新資料の掘り起こし の成果を公表するものである。

2021년 가을부터 2022년 봄에 걸쳐 한일 교류의 섬인 대마도 에 두 개의 박물관 시설이 개관하였다. 대마도박물관과 그 분관인 대마도조선통신사역사관이다. 대마도박물관은 한일교류사를 전시 의 기둥으로 삼았고, 대마도조선통신사역사관은 조선통신사에 특 화된 전시를 진행하고 있으나 원본 자료가 적지 않아 복제자료로 전시를 구성할 수밖에 없었다. 이를 위해 양관 모두 수집 예산을 확보하여 개관 초부터 조선통신사자료 및 그 관련 자료 수집에 힘 썼다. 그 결과 대마도박물관에서 조선통신사자료 6건 6점 및 관련 자 료 2건 2점 등 총 8건 8점, 대마조선통신사역사관에서 조선통신 사자료 10건 10점 및 관련 자료 10건 11점 등 총 20건 21점을 수집하였다. 특히 대마도조선통신사역사관의 수집품은 신기수(辛 基秀) 컬렉션과 마쓰바라 카즈유키[松原一征] 컬렉션으로 두 명의 컬렉터가 대마도 역지빙례(易地聘禮) 등의 주제에 따라 체계적으 로 수집한 자료이다. 양관이 수집한 자료는 몇 점을 제외하고는 그동안 공개될 기회 가 없었던 새로운 자료가 대부분이며 유네스코 세계기록유산 등재 구성 자료도 1점 포함돼 있다. 또한 <김의신병풍도(金義信書屏 風)>, <한시각필포포대도(韓時覚筆布袋圖)>, <이현찬수야즉예필제갈무후진도(李礥賛狩野即誉筆諸葛武侯真圖)> 등 예술적으로 뛰어 난 작품도 있다. 이 글은 향후 조선통신사 연구에 이바지하기 위해 이들 수집자 료를 한 점씩 소개하고 유네스코 세계기록유산 등재 후 새로운 자 료 발굴 성과를 공표하는 것이다.
