Purpose: The purpose of this study was to classify foundation colors by applying personal colors and then was to figure out the consistency in base and brightness between the personal color system (PCS) foundation colors with the face and skin color measurement and the self-diagnosis foundation colors. Methods: The research subjects included 40 women aged 20–50 years who lived in capital area. The data were analyzed with frequency and percentage analysis, χ2-test, and one-way ANOVA, t-test using SPSS WIN 27.0. Results: The foundation colors were inspected according to a personal color type. Consequently, the foundation colors appeared to be the Warm (Yellow) base as a type of spring and autumn of being sorted into Warm tone type, the Cool (Pink) base color as a type of summer and winter of being categorized into Cool tone, No. 21 brightness as a type of spring and summer, and No. 23 brightness as a type of autumn and winter. Conclusion: The results of this study can be considered to be what the PCS foundation color classification is available through the personal color application and to be what the outcome on women’s self-diagnosis foundation color measurement increases the availability of PCS foundation color classification. These findings arranged a theoretical ground on the skin color expression suiting themselves and on color matching through applying personal colors when women select foundation colors and are expected to be likely used as basic data in beauty field.

목적: 본 연구는 퍼스널 컬러를 적용하여 파운데이션 컬러를 분류하고, 얼굴 피부색 측정 PCS 파운데이션 컬러와 자가진단 파운데 이션 컬러의 베이스와 밝기의 일치성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 수도권에 거주하는 20-50세 여성 40명을 대상으로 데이터를 수 집하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 27.0을 이용해 빈도와 백분율을 구하였고, χ2검증, One-way ANOVA, t-test(검증), 그리 고 기술통계 분석을 실시하였다. 결과: 퍼스널 컬러 유형에 따른 파운데이션 컬러를 살펴본 결과 warm tone 유형으로 분류되는 봄 과 가을 유형은 warm (yellow) 베이스, cool tone으로 분류되는 여름, 겨울 유형은 cool (pink) 베이스 컬러가, 봄과 여름 유형은 21 호, 가을, 겨울 유형은 23호 밝기의 파운데이션 컬러가 나왔으며, 퍼스널 컬러 유형에 따라 파운데이션 컬러를 분류할 수 있었다. 또 한 측색평가와 시감평가를 각각 사용하여 진단한 PCS 파운데이션 컬러와 피험자 자가진단 파운데이션 컬러의 일치성이 높았다. 결 론: 본 연구결과는 퍼스널 컬러 적용을 통해 PCS 파운데이션 컬러 분류가 가능하며, 여성들의 자가진단 파운데이션 컬러 측정 결과 는 PCS 파운데이션 컬러 분류의 활용성을 높여준다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 연구결과는 여성들이 파운데이션 컬러 선택 시 퍼스널 컬 러를 적용함으로써 자신에게 어울리는 피부색 표현과 컬러 매칭의 이론적 근거를 마련하였고, 뷰티분야에서 기초 자료로 활용될 것 으로 기대된다

目的: 本研究的目的是通过应用个人色彩对粉底色进行分类，然后通过面部和肤色测量以及自我诊断来找出个人 色彩系统(PCS)粉底色之间的底色和亮度的一致性基础颜色。方法: 收集了居住在首都地区的40名20-50岁女性的 数据。采用SPSS WIN 27.0对收集到的材料进行频数和百分率，并进行χ2检验、单因素方差分析、t 检验(验证)和 描述性统计分析。结果: 根据个人颜色类型检查粉底色结果，暖色(黄色)底色作为春秋类型，被分类为暖色调类 型，冷色(粉红色)底色作为夏季和冬季类型，被分类为冷色调，21号亮度作为春夏类型，23号亮度作为秋冬类 型。结论: 本研究的结果可以被认为是通过个人色彩应用获得PCS粉底颜色分类的结果，以及女性自我诊断粉底 颜色测量的结果增加了PCS粉底颜色分类的可用性。这些研究结果为女性选择粉底色时适合自己的肤色表现以及 通过个人色彩进行色彩搭配奠定了理论基础，有望作为美容领域的基础数据。
