Background: Modern society is undergoing rapid changes, and the declining birth rate and increasing aging population have brought about fundamental changes in social structure. Amidst these changes, we believe that the traditional virtue of filial piety can play an important role in addressing social concerns about problematic and disrespectful behavior among adolescents, and we aim to analyze the trends in filial piety education among adolescents. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to explore the meaning of filial education from the perspective of everyday learning, as although the promotion of filial piety is explicitly stated and emphasized at the national level, social interaction through practical, repetitive, and implicit learning involving physical actions is lacking. Methodology/Approach: A total of 68 papers related to filial education of adolescents conducted in Korea in the last 20 years (2003 to 2022) were selected and reviewed for content. Research trends were analyzed by research year, research method, research publication, and research registration information. Findings/Conclusions: First, by research year, there have been more than 14 (20%) studies consistently every year; second, by research method, literature studies are the most numerous with 39 (57.36%), and qualitative studies are 3 (4.41%); third, by research publication venue, theses are the most numerous with 13 (19.12%), and academic journal articles have been the most researched with 24 (35.29%) in youth and filial culture. Fourth, the results of research registration information are 28 (70%) unregistered, 8 (20%) candidates for KCI registration, and 4 (10%) registered with KCI. Implications: Given the lack of prior research on trends in filial piety education, this study examines the research trends in filial piety education for adolescents over the past 20 years and suggests future research directions for everyday learning. However, there are limitations to the research that has been conducted to analyze the trends in filial education for adolescents.

배경: 현대 사회는 급속한 변화를 겪고 있으며, 출산율 감소와 고령화 증가는 사회적 구조와 근본적인 변 화를 불러왔다. 이런 변화 속에서 청소년의 문제 행동과 무례한 행동에 대한 사회적 우려를 해소하기 위 해 전통적 덕목인 효 교육이 중요한 역할을 할 수 있다고 생각하여 청소년 효 교육의 동향을 분석하고자 한다. 목적: 국가 차원에서도 효 장려를 명시하고 강조하고 있지만 신체적 행위를 수반한 실천적이고 반복적이 며 암묵적인 학습을 통해 사회적 상호작용 행위는 부족하기 때문에 일상학습 관점에서 효 교육의 의미를 탐구하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 방법론/접근: 최근 20년간(2003년부터 2022년까지) 국내에서 수행되어 온 청소년의 효 교육과 관련된 총 68편의 논문을 최종 선정하여 내용을 검토하였다. 연구동향은 연구 연도별, 연구 방법별, 연구 게재지별, 연구 등재정보별로 분석하였다. 결과/결론: 첫째, 연구 연도별은 해마다 14편(20%) 이상 꾸준하게 연구되어 왔으며. 둘째, 연구 방법별은 문헌 연구가 39편(57.36%)으로 가장 많았고, 질적 연구는 3편(4.41%)이다, 셋째, 연구 게재지별 학위논문 은 성산효대학원대학교 13편(19.12%), 학술지 논문은 청소년과효문화 24편(35.29%)으로 가장 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔으며 넷째, 연구 등재정보 결과는 무등재 28편(70%), KCI 등재후보 8편(20%), KCI 등재 4편 (10%) 순이다. 시사점: 효 교육 동향 연구에 대한 선행연구가 전무한 상황에서 청소년 효 교육 최근 20년간의 연구 동 향을 살펴보았고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 일상학습 차원에서 향후 연구 방향을 제시하는 데 의의가 있다. 하 지만 진행되어 온 청소년 효 교육 동향 분석 연구가 전체성을 반영하기에는 분명 한계가 있다.
