This study is intended to inspire the spirit of those who participated in the anti-Japanese movement during the Japanese colonial period. Meanwhile, the government has also made efforts to commemorate the achievements of independence movement martyrs in various ways. In addition to efforts to discover the resistance spirit of those who fought for independence during the Japanese colonial period, support has been made for descendants in difficult aspects of their lives, excavation of historical sites, and park development projects. Based on these efforts, efforts must continue to renew awareness of our ancestors, who are fading away, and to pass them on to descendants. The following conclusions were obtained through this study: First of all, efforts to uncover the dedication and achievements of independence activists nationwide must continue. Second, discovering and commemorating the achievements of local independence movement martyrs who have been relatively neglected should also be continued at the local government level. Third, the local independence movement martyrs must be smoothly passed on to future generations. Now, we need to move away from the perspective of delivering education through cramming and proceed from the perspective that visits are education through historic sites, park development projects, etc. Therefore, in order to re-aware of goodwill today, it is necessary to break away from the existing education and illumination methods and explore educational methods that approach future generations in a friendly way and allow them to recognize them naturally.

이 연구는 일제강점기에 항일운동에 참여하신 분들의 정신을 고취하기 위한 것이다. 그동안 정부에서도 다 양한 방식으로 독립운동 열사들을 위한 공적을 기리기 위한 노력을 전개하여 왔다. 일제강점기에 독립을 위한 선열들의 저항정신에 대한 발굴 노력뿐만 아니라 그 후손들이 현재 삶에서 어려운 부분들에 대한 지원, 유적지 발굴, 공원화 사업 등이 전개되어 왔다. 이러한 노력들을 바탕으로 이제는 점점 희미해져가는 선열들에 대한 인식을 새롭게 하고, 후손들에게 물려주기 위한 노력이 지속되어야 한다. 이 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 먼저, 전국적인 독립운동가에 대한 헌신과 업적에 대한 발굴 노력은 당연히 지속되어야 할 것이다. 둘 째, 상대적으로 소홀하게 다루어지고 있는 지역의 독립운동 열사들에 대한 발굴과 업적을 기리는 일들도 지자 체 차원에서 지속되어야 한다. 셋째, 지역의 독립운동 열사들에 대한 미래세대로의 전달이 원만하게 이루어져 야 한다. 이제는 주입식 교육으로 전달하려는 시각에서 벗어나 유적지, 공원화 사업 등을 통해 방문이 곧 교육 이라는 입장에서 진행되어야 한다. 따라서 오늘날 선열에 대한 재인식을 위해서는 지금까지의 교육과 조명 방 식에서 벗어나 미래 세대에게 친근하게 다가가서 자연스럽게 인식하는 교육방식을 탐구할 필요가 있다.
