- Founded in 1991, auto parts manufacturer T Company applied for an EcoVadis evaluation at the request of GM, a global automobile manufacturer. EcoVadis is a program that evaluates the social responsibility index of companies within the supply chain and provides comprehensive sustainability evaluation services through a global cloud-based SaaS platform. The evaluation items of EcoVadis consist of a total of 39 CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility),questions covering five topics: general, environment, labor practices, fair operations, and sustainable procurement. Consulting services initially assessed the ESG(Environmental, Social, and Governance) status of T Company, analyzed the EcoVadis questionnaire, and guided the preparation of documents to substantiate the questionnaire responses, including the creation of a CSR performance report to verify these claims. Based on the consulting, T Company obtained Silver certification from EcoVadis. As ESG issues intensify within the supply chain, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Korea must recognize the importance of sustainable procurement and establish management strategies that internalize sustainability. Implementing such supply chain network management can create more opportunities in the future.

- 1991년 창업한 자동차 부품 제조업체 T사는 글로벌 자동차 제조업체인 GM의 요청으로 EcoVadis 평가 를 신청하였다. EcoVadis는 공급망 속 기업의 사회적 책임 지수를 평가하는 프로그램으로 글로벌 클라우드 기반 SaaS 플랫폼을 통해 기업의 총체적 지속가능성 평가 서비스를 제공한다. 에코바디스의 평가항목은 공급업체의 CSR에 대하여 5가지 주제 (일반, 환경, 노동관행, 공정운영, 지속가능 조달)에 대하여 총 39개 CSR 질문으로 구 성되었다. 컨설팅은 T사의 ESG 현황을 초진하고 EcoVads에서 요구하는 사항을 교육을 하고 설문지를 분석하여 부족한 부분에 대해서 보완을 하였다. 보완에는 설문의 내용을 증빙할 수 있는 문서의 작성 등이 포함되어 있으며 이를 입증할 수 있는 CSR 성과보고서를 작성할 수 있도록 하였다. 컨설팅을 기반으로 T사는 EcoVadis로부터 Silver 인증을 획득하였다. 공급망에서 ESG 이슈가 가중되므로 인해 한국의 중소·중견기업이 지속 가능한 조달에 대한 중요성을 인지하고 지속가능성을 내재화하는 경영전략을 수립해 실천해야 한다.

- Ever since next generation convergence technology became one of the most important industries in the nation, computing professionals have encountered a growing number of challenges. Along with scholars and colleagues in related fields, they have gathered in avariety of forums and meetings over the last few decades to share their knowledge, experiences and the outcome of their research. These exchanges have led to the founding of the International Next-generation Convergence technology (INCA) on December 1, 2015. INCA was registered as an incorporated association under the Ministry of Information and Communications. The main purpose of the organization is to improve our society by achieving the highest capability possible in next generation convergence technology.
